Mike Osman says that the 400k that was written HAS to be paid back. Not knockingMike personalyy but whoever did that must have done so in the knowledge that it was essentially a gamble. I say less of the challenge to fans and more names please. Actually, I just saw Freddie Starr on Soccer AM and he was always up for a charity game years ago. That might get a few of the older fans out of their bath chairs.

mmm.... ticks most of the boxes doesn't he, and he comes with his very own song. Never mind "cheer up Peter Reid", would it cheer the fans up though, it is quite important that the new owners get bums on seats? When I hear that the club has had to open the Itchen Corner due to increased attandances, I will be a lot more optimistic?

I just did exactly that; reception then media manager. Had quite a chat and he was quite clear in saying that he COULD NOT say that there would not be a press conference today. I asked what time it would be held were there were to be one and he again said he could not say at this time. He told me that there had been speculation all this week that an announcement was imminent, which we all know on here anyway. fingers and toes crossed.

May have been suggested already (sorry), but I do hope that we have people watching the play-offs (all divisions) as there may be a few 'want aways' who have a bit of gumption in their armoury or show real promise. Also, I can't help thinking that Luton players performed amazingly well considering what they were up against. What would there points tally have been without that sword of Damacles over their heads? Could be one or two battlers there too, and the caoching staff also know what is required mentally and tactically. Anyone been following them this season?

Ince being ambitious doesn't necessarily make him any good, and I personally don't think he is that good. Just my opinion though.

To be fair my friend, those two games and attendances count as one as they were linked intrinsically. Making the Man U game attendance 58,481

'who threw the flare?' 30 seconds in on this clip:
-
Just to put the 'who threw the falre first' argument, it was a saints fan, 30 seconds in on this clip: There are quite a few clips up now and I must say that most are of good natured people enjoying a stroll on the pitch. Perfectly innocently in my view. As for the others trying to attack visiting supporters, well, anyone defending that really does not deserve a response, you make yourselves sound a bit simple to be honest. You are defending animal like pack behaviour, I don't get it sorry.

What would/could the FL do if the game on Saturday could not be completed due to a mass pitch invasion protest?

Chatham Rule applies in these delicate negotiations. I like the references earlier to horse trading, never mind what league we will be in, will we still be a live? is actually a consideraton too.

They already 'lost' a couple of video tapes! They should do this quickly and have a respested head oversee it, like erm....

Pdople who eat potatoe waffles before getting to the checkout, then finding that they aren't for sale. I laugh at them.

Before or after being beaten around the ring? Sorry Baj forgot you just got sprung from clink, how was the food?

you missed out 'couldn't sit down in a chair and talk to famous people for money'. that sounds like an amazing talent. Parky should look in the mirror, the man is a hypocrite. What did HE do to make him "a star"?

I like the sound of your proposal FC. It may form the basis for a dream that I have tonight, thank you if it does. How brilliant would it be to see Lawrie Mac and Keegan on News at Ten again.
-
I shall take that as a no then mate. I suppose there was no harm in asking though. Please, no-one suggest that I was wasting my time asking, I thought that you portrayed yourself as a gentleman. Don't worry, I have been wrong about people in the past. Have to say Jilly, it was a bit naughty. That must be a worry for him now, I sincerely hope that she is fine Weston, and Jilly you should apologise.
-
Absolutely no need for that. I have never used fould language and insults on here, and I would thank you to show me the same level of respect, I think that I at least deserve that from you.
-
It's a good job that jillyanne has you as her obsessive proof-reader ans fact checker then Weston, don't you think eh?
-
No they aren't Weston. I would wager that Parky would have got paid less for this bile a few weeks ago, so has kept his powder dry to maximise income received for it. Anyone know who his publicist is? He is not quite up there with Max Clifford but he is very good indeed. Well worth his 20%

I cannot argue with you on that summary doublesaint. I do find it somewhat ironic that he sounds like he is jealous of her fame though. What really is his problem? If he wants the limelight that she now leaves behind he is welcome to do a Richard and Judy on some up and coming freeview channel and invite some top notch worthy celebs on like he used to do in his heyday. Let us not forget the interviews that made Parky famous: George Best - famous for kicking a pigs bladder around, ****ging ex miss worlds and beng an alcoholic (famously on that show). Did George save lives by highlighting the risks of alcoholism? No, he revelled in it and that interview should not have taken place let alone be broadcast. Parky cites Georhe as one of his best mates, yet chose to take the money rather than help him out. A very very sad life story, but Parky took the filthy folding stuff off the back of it. Another top interview that puts Parky 'up there' was with a man who made his name and fortune by shoving his hand up an emu's arse and generally being unhinged in public. Hilarious, genius? I don't think so. He took the money for those interviews did this "working class lad from Barnsley" (irrelevant detail?) and would most definitely have had her on his show given the opportunity. In 2007 he retired saying "There's so much I want to do that I can't do if I'm restricted by doing 20 TV shows a year. I'd love to spend six months in Australia and three months of the year in New York." Hard life isn't it! easier to enjoy if you are actually alive to enjoy it, which Jade isn't. Nice one Parky how you gonna explain that one when you get interviewed by the big man upstairs? Here's a quote from him that makes him a hypocrite in my book. ""All my life I've seen what happens to people when they become famous. It can destroy then and corrode them. .....they sign a pact with the Devil....." Michael Parkinson Erm, if the cancer don't get you the fame will perhaps. I am sorry but he is entitled to his opinion, but for a man of his priviledge it is distasteful. Rant over, back to my cornflakes.
