Likewise (re being first) I fear that we will be relegated at the present time. Sorry, but I just think with the current situation (squad, -10, 4 down, lack of preparation) we are heading down. I hope to be proven wrong. I accept that it a different set of circumstances this time around, but as it is still fresh in the memories; last year it took us 2 months and 9 games to get past the 10 point barrier. The following month only resulted in a haul of 2 more points. As I say, it is different in many many ways, but what else do we have to go on right now?

I would like to bump this thread and in the process alert people to the fact that Jurgen Klinsmann is a free agent, as of fairly recently. He jhas quite some pedigree and would be my first choice for Saints new manager.
