I think that the Stones appeal is more for Stones fans. Their 'greatest hits' imo would need to have tracks that are familiar to the wider audience. They are certainly up there with the biggest of all time but it's perhaps time to leave the old Beatles vs Stones rivalry behind us. For example, it could be argued that the Red and the Blue albums are 'greatest hits' and they are both doubles. Imho the Stones are nowhere men in the big scheme.

And fwiw imho it is Cortese's job to build bridges with the Echo, it is in his interest to play the good guy. What is to be gained by anyone with the current state of play, thr Echo are still selling papers after all yet many are of the opinion that (due to NC's decision making) the club will experience the lowest ST sales figures in St Mary's history. Do the math.

It's quite re-assuring too that we appear to be the only club aiming for promotion/improvement from our current position. imho Chelsea are the ONLY club in England who should be lacking in ambition, and even they won't be doing that. 5 year plan? I bet every fan in the country has a 5 year plan ffs. Next game is the only game that matters, ST prices are irrelevant in the big scheme as the only thing that really matters in the big scheme of things. We start winning and everything else becomes irrelevant, we falter and the shirt will be wrong, the badge will be wrong the pricing policy will be wrong, the latest signing will be pants and the manager and/or CEO will be shown the door in some people's eyes.. whem will some people be satisfied I ask myself !!

..and failed to reah the play-offs eh? Even under Branfoot we had a day out. We surely can't judge anyone in the corrridors of power by how much we spend/speculate. Who was at the hel when we brought in our record signing (and won **** all)? NB Is our record signing STILL RD!!!!

20! That's pushing it imho. Beatles = pop music, good shout hamster. You are a man of good taste and even better judgement. Imh The Beatles epitomise all that (relatively) music is about. Their range will never be equallled or bettered. Sent from up above. FACT

"Good" comes nowhere near to Carol Luckett's qualities. No disrespect but Carol L is the bee's knees.

Carol Luckett @ Blatch & Co. 7 Salisbury Road Totton, Southampton SO40 3HW 023 8087 1144 She is fantastically efficient and focussed, deals with problems that may (and often do) occur over the phone and with the right responsible. If you need to speak with her over any issues and she is not free she will call you back persoanlly to deal with the matter, no messages left with PA to deal with, she does the lot. If she leaves messages with another party involved they are clear and succinct and if no reply in good time she is on the case. Obviously I am biased as she has done a few house purchases, buy to lets and sales over the years, but I promise that once you've used her you will never need to source a conveyancer again. Prices? You'll be pleasantly surprised imho.

But that was before people began discussing any alternatives. Perhaps a new poll on the merits of the gold-edged football one is appropriate but that might just feed the Echo another story with which toi beat NC with (as if they need an excuse).
