cripes, this is getting heavy. tbh i really am lost in all of the arguments above but can't help confessing that i think that most right minded people do not need to understand the standpoints to know right from wrong and that lust and greed for money is wrong. No matter how you dress it up and no matter how you form an argument, priviledge of the level that some receive is just ridiculous and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. ffs we are talking about people here, what is there not to get?

scooby, you do know that that is peter kay in drag don't you, iirc she (geraldine) got to number two a couple of years back with her spoof christmas song. The prog was actually quite amusing and had some subtle {-} humou that would have gone over many's heads. worth diggging out i'd say.

I met him once. Approached him and asked for an autograph which he duly obliged, however... when I asked him I called him Mr Rogers (Kenny) and told him it was for my mum, he wrote 'To ******, Love Willie Nelson. I only noticed my error after he'd gone. Anyhow, this is a great song that fill me with pride:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjUA3RU4B8E

/\ just to close this. twas Admiarl Penn. he sailed a ship called 'welcome' to america. The area had already been 'settled' by the dutch amongst others and Penn was sent there to run it after us brits fought and won it for ourselves. Penn was gifted it by the king for a debt owed to his dad and wanted to calll it simply 'sylvania' but the kings decree named it 'Pennsylvania'. Penn brought a law into the constitution that, to this day, makes america the land of the free, he introduced the law giving 'freedom of religious conviction' that is now an intrinsic part of the constitution. and it all started when a wooden boat set sail from the Goodwin Sands, Deal.
