  1. i like his 'english' playing style, and appears to have meshed well; win's the ball firmly and distributes it forward very quickly, he appears to have a great awareness of where those forward of him are. Not least our other loan* player Do Prado, which is something that the rest of the squad are still acclimatising to. Another example perhaps of the new scouting system working well; manager highlights area to be improved (covered), Nic tells them OUR budget, Reed's men put the feelers out, shortlist drawn up and given to manager (and his team), shorter shortlist handed back to Reed and working a sa team we get the man most suited to everyone's agendas. I like it. *read - permanent contract (gentlemen's agreement).
  2. Andrew Stone and Keith Corns? Maybe OS needs updating?
  3. Really? Making a noise is art? Furthermore making a noise from other noises is art? Please be honest with yourself and accept that that 'scratching' is pretty much an accurate description of the genre to which we are discussing Mokey. Maybe we can then discuss the merits of making scratching noises and agree that scratching noises are generally accepted as not pleasing to the ear. Next you will be telling me that a piece of blu-tac in the middle of a wall is 'art' just because someone considers it thus.

  6. Perks of not having to work at all FAR outweigh anything that working provides, ie freedom.
  7. a bird in a bird in a bird, lovely and Uptons just won second place in the national pork sausage champs. also, i beleive that there is a great buffalo farm near basingstoke run by an ex F1 driver, name escapes me atm. http://www.laverstokepark.co.uk/about-laverstoke-park Jody Sheckter owns it.
  8. Would people agreee that one of the biggest things that one can risk in starting a business is when one turns a hobby into an income stream? It sounds as though hamster enjoys what he currently does for a salary but the added pressure of having to make it 'pay' should be considered ?

  11. tbf, that is not reallly music is it. very talented i am sure but more visual than pleasing to the ear and i am being very generous in saying that. Art section? I am not really sure tbh then again where else would you put it, we don't have a 'noise' section.

  14. Taxing people who aren't even in the job market is abhorrent. I have a feeling that our student population may well be the ones to start the ball rolling with big protets in the very near future, although not in favour of violent disorder this government might just be about to feel the wrath of the people. There are many reasons for people to be angry with the state and moreso the banks, not sure the police would be able to cope to be honest. It's started in France yesterday in response to their retirement age increase plans: http://www.france24.com/en/20101012-france-pensions-reform-youth-join-strikes-protests-senate-vote?autoplay=1 I know they are infamous for their protests but even secondary school kids are joining in this time around. 15. My Hotmail account has been sending out e-mails to everyone in my address book. Checked me 'sent' folder and there are hundreds of them, it's a right pain in the arse and I thought I'd sorted it by changing my password but to no avail. Had about 70 'could not deliver' messages too so clearly not the 'harvesting' type and i never forward joke e-mails, don't even read them tbh. Any help appreciated. btw i use AVG and Malaware atm. Also found out today that my partner's account has been sending them out too, I share the laptop with them.
  16. we have to beat any team that is put before us, this is a big one but last year was it gillingham who beat all the top five teams at home and ended up relegated as they could not perform away and they had one of the top goalscorers in the team, some would say beter than our rickie. stand em up, we'll knock 'em down. 23. i'd like to see prisoners made to wear their team's shirt inside. i am of course assuming that every criminal is a football fan otherwise they would have a good case for a miscarriage of justice. anyway, any truth in the rumour that the victim is a disabled chap? i mean proper disabled of course, then again what are they doing on a train if they're proper disabled?
