I don't want to muddy the waters, but has anyone on here been in a position to ask Mr Askham why he is so supportive of Rupert Lowe............I don't mean a Southern Evening Echo type interview, just a general 'chat' ?
-
During his time here there will be only one thing that he'll be remembered for, the groans around the stadium every time his name is mentioned on the team sheet. If I'm proved wrong I will put my hands up........but I'm very, very confident that I won't be.

The usual gobbledegook http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=10879

So anyone who would like to ask more probing questions and would possibly not be brushed away like a Stepford Wife, would not be welcome ?. And you were having a dig at the "russian taxi driver"
-
But you 'like' Jan, so surely you like the direction that he's going ?
-
We were poor, very poor. That's what you come to expect from Saints after a good result the previous week :butthead:
-
I think you will enjoy the Aspalls, a really nice drink. Had some French stuff last week (can't remember what it was called), it was not to my taste at all .
-
Oh yeah, develop young players and then sell em..........the only way is up :smt017
-
Is that supposed to be some sort of consolation ?
-
Personally I'd rather go in to administration now and be rid of Lowe, Wilde & the other hangers on. At the moment I know that I'm wasting my money by supporting the club by buying my ST and purchasing refreshments at St Marys. It wouldn't bother me losing that money if everyone were pulling in the right direction, but that's not gonna happen while Lowe & Wilde are here.

Was working today at a neighbours house (Newcastle supporter), I said we were away to Swansea today and we'd probably lose and he told me that I was way too negative. I told him to wait and see, believe it we are totally ****.
-
T'was ****e.........I agree
-
Next time could you please give us an honest appraisel (sp)
-
Spot on, but what I'm saying is that he may not have been appointed until the season after we were relegated, but maybe he did have some sort of 'unofficial input' before we were relegated :smt102

Before the Coventry game I had a call from 2 long standing sths (up untill 2 years ago). "Yeah we're gonna go to the next Saturday game", did they go ?.........did they ****!!!! & and I can't blame them. I expect they watched the Coventry game on Sky and thought their money could be spent better elsewhere. After going today, I think that they had the right idea

Hello.............hello !!!!!, post 15, he was on the radar BEFORE we were relegated ](*,)
-
Are we gonna get a rallying call from Nick Illingsworth tomorrow, telling us that it's our duty to spend £24.00 or whatever to support SFC and pack the stadium when they're already kicking us when we're on the ground ? I really feel like I'm being mugged every time I go in to SMS
-
He was involved before we were relegated............or perhaps he met Rupert at Villa Park for a glass of wine and a prawn sandwhich and discussed hockey :smt102

I remember the exact day, I got a phone call telling me that Sturrock had been sacked and Wigley was relacing him. I assumed that Wigley was a temporary replacement but as the day drew on it was obvious that this was going to be a permanent appointment. I reallly thought that no one in charge of a multi million pound plc could make such a stupid decision.........and hey, he 's still here and look where we are
-
Tbh, SFC has been treated like a 'play thing' for quite a few years now, it's all pretty sad really.
-
Seems to be an awful lot of 'learning' going on the last few seasons. **** !!!, we must be one of the most educated teams in the football league by now
-
And that is exactly what's gonna happen
-
Very flippant of you, ofcourse Lowe & Wilde share some responsibility for the position we're in. They are the people who are actually at the top of the table and who make the decisions by which the club lives or dies. At the present time they're visiting the chapel of rest for SFC, and they've only themselves to blame for that.
