'Amazing prospect' maybe?........today he looked tidy at times but sloppy also. We just seem so ponderous and predictable, too much sideways and passing back and no real cutting edge.

Not too bothered tbh, thought the team played ok and that just about sums us up atm 'ok'. I don't know why we bought davis, he doesn't offer anything at all apart from sideways/telegraphed passing......just as well have kept hammond. We need a 'marrauding' midfielder in the pemier league, not a so/so lightweight, we had one of those.

Hope he's getting a new pair of shooting boots for his birthday!

Tbh only watched on a stream but there were 2 or 3 occassions when the ball was played back to a cb (yoshida in the case of the goal), when they played it back to gazza when there was an outlet left or right and I was shouting out "not back ffs".........I've noticed this quite a bit lately and i really don't see that this helps at all.......just puts unneccesary pressure on the keeper (whoever they are that particular week) that really isn't required.
