  1. Well firstly the FL could and would fine the club for lack of crowd control. then secondly the policing costs will rocket as the police will be required to increase their number inside the stadium next season. so yeah great idea you plums.
  2. from an curry in manchester to the official launch of the football club took 11 days. donations were asked for and 4000 people donated 125k in a week or two.
  3. FCUM Constitution below, IPS rules can be found here http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/documents/ipsrules20080915.pdf FAQ - http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/documents/fcumfaq160408.pdf
  4. FCUM board members are elected every year on a two year basis, so half the board are forced to stand down after a two year period, they can of course stand for election again if they so wish. All Football decisions are made by the club manager
  5. Shining beacons of Fan Ownership AFC Wimbledon & FC United of Manchester. FCUM being the more out there version, as we are against outright commercialism as well, such as shirt sponsorship. if you have an interest in asking questions about how ownership as members work then feel free to come and post on www.fcumforum.org.uk. Club website www.fc-utd.co.uk FCUM are run as an IPS, the rules of which are voted on and ratified by the clubs members, which costs £10 per year, for which you get one vote and one share. No one member can ever own more than one share. Recently FC members have voted in favour of a new homr shirt, held a design competition and voted on the shirt of choice for next season.
  6. Either your a fan or not. I can understand boycotting due to lowe, but not attending just because they club are in tier 3 shows you up for being a fair weather fan. I'm not even a lifelong saints fan, but i'll be there next season.
  7. There are a few in League 2 i'd give an interview too. Peter Talyor @ Wycombe Alan Knill @ Bury (bit more of a risk but has worked wonders with Bury this season Harford @ Luton Tisdale Robins at Rotherham, without the points deduction they'd be 2nd
  8. He has a bigger ego than RL
  9. after all it might well be. Sing your lungs out for the boys from the 1st min to the 90th. plus injury time
  10. this has to be a wum. we need a manager with the guts for the fight, one that wont cry off and vanish at the first hurdle. Said it before and i'll say it again. If the club is saved and there is money to pay a decent wage, then Adie Boothroyd is the obvios candidate. Acheivied success as these levels before and try's to play football the right way, when presented with a squad capable.

    L1 Wages

Unibond Premier Its thought FC Utd have the smallest wage budget in the leage yet are fighting for a play off space. Its not all abot how mauch you pay in wages.

because if he can get fit and manage to play more than 2 games on the bounce i think he could become a very good player.

    Adie Boothroyd

so would i, but i thought he'd committed to leaving if the club were relegated

    Adie Boothroyd

New Owners and a stable financial situation, yes i believe SFC could attract Boothroyd. The young lads will be a year better off, and have the ability to do very well in League 1, with the club seeing the back off ALL the senior pro's bar KD and CP, i think there is plenty to work with.

    Adie Boothroyd

Once relegation is confirmed and the new owners bin Wotte, how about a call to AB to see if he'd be interested. Always liked the way he set watford up to play, was badly done there i think.
  17. Granted but liverpool and chelsea are both capable of moving above them, Arsenal are not far from a title winning side IMO. If villa buy well over the summer, then next season will be very interesting. Plus you'd think one of these days Spurs will get their act together. The other fact that has to be considered is AF will step down sooner rather than later, when he's gone i would think there will be a big hit on the clubs performances. Take all that away and the idea fo a football club having £700,000,000 of debt and £95,000,000 of interest in a year is simple wrong.
  18. finantial :confused: can someone change the title for me. its been a long day.
  19. So Saints have hit rock bottom and now the only choice is recovery or insolvency. But whose next. One season outside the top four and MUFC are in trouble http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/manutd/5130064/Manchester-United-debt-soars-to-700m-despite-record-season.html £700m debt that gets bigger every year, £70m of INTEREST payments in one year, with a further £24m carried over to increase the debt.
  20. no housing allowed on the site for summit like 100years. all to do with the contamination from being a gas works site
  21. Not going to confirm or deny any names of where this came from.
  22. look horrible, but then no shirt with a sponsor on looks good.
  23. She's been asked to come on board by a former director
  24. I'm led to believe that the following is one of those looking at the club. Charlene De Carvalho £2.10bn Daughter of the late Heineken owner The door to the chief executive's office at the brewing empire weighs a ton. It is because Dutch beer baron Alfred 'Freddy' Heineken had the executive suite bullet-proofed after his three-week kidnapping ordeal in 1983. His only child, Charlene de Carvalho, was also the victim of a scare in 1996. Charlene, 49, inherited a 25 per cent stake in the business when Freddy died in 2002, but leaves the day-to-day running to management. Increasing competition has hit shares and her stake is down to £2 billion. The mother of five lives in London with investment banker husband Michel de Carvalho, a former British Olympic skier and child actor who appeared in the film Lawrence of Arabia. With dividends and other wealth Charlene is worth £2.10 billion.
