  1. Can I buy a ticket for Doncaster without having to buy a ticket for Pompey?
  2. I have to agree with this. A couple of years ago I was at Waterloo East going to the Charlton match and a group of about 20 saints fans (late teens, early twenties none wearing Saints kits) arrived. They were very noisy and distressed some family groups. I know that these lads (didn't notice any females in the group) are harmless but we need to remember that other people do not know this. Mass groups of animated football fans can, and do, intimidate! I also seen similar problems with Saints fans at Palace & Reading games.
  3. If I were charged with some really despicable crime and knew there would be cameras to film me going into court I'd wear a Pompey shirt!
  4. Did anyone see Boro's goal against Brighton? I presume he wasn't a last minute sub.
  5. I think they have reports from the match on Radio Solent.
  6. Drinkaware for the facts
  7. Noticed that a couple of Arquiva Ouside Broadcast Units had just turned up at SMS so it looks as if we're a featured game on The League Show tomorrow.
  8. That was my highlight of the night. That and getting served within 2 minutes at the Wetherspoons by Thornton Heath station......unbelievable.
  9. Why do the Club/Ticket Office seem obsessed with initially only releasing tickets to ST's and then only 1 ticket per ST I can understand the logic with popular games but it's obvious that many games will either not sell out or tickets will be available for long enough for the "keenies" to get theirs. Whilst queueing for mine I was reading all the changes to ticket sales/refunds/moving etc. It seems that a lot of people are like me and now buy from the office rather than pay the extra £3.
  10. Latest Specsavers Ad: "Adkins receives red card for impeding striker"
  11. The truth is that we are not a particularly glamorous team. This is not a glamorous division. It's not just us. I have friends at Fratton Park (well, someone has to) who are convinced the media ignore them. Compare that to when Newcastle were in D2 (aka Championship) and, to a certain extent, West Ham. That's life!
  12. I can't imagine he's earning a fortune with H&W. Do we really need to gloat on the misfortunes of others?
  13. Shocked, as it came off the back of a 4-0 win. In hindsight it was a blessing in diguise IMO but glad Pards got a good job at Newcastle.
  14. I hate to agree but that shower were even worse than Rupert. He had some good points although my memory fails me at the moment.
  15. A lot of people are keen that all South Coast clubs do well Ignore the few "Wind-up" posters If someone hates me then they have the problem, not me.
  16. I wonder if less people are using them since they started charging to park at the Stadium? I believe it's £10 for most departures and I haven't bothered since.
  17. NOW who's laughing at your "Head & Shoulders" joke
  18. Maybe Huffton's initial point may have referred to the Bale sale. My understanding is that, to get more money up front, we relinquished the "sell-on" clause. Also we were forced to spend some of this extra money on Tommy Forcast. Anyone ITK?
  19. The pub (forget the name) nearest to Bristol Rovers Excellent selection of Ales & friendly home fans. I doubt if i'll be able to say the same at Ashton Gate!
  20. ...and straddling two divisions!
  21. Perhaps it's Lee Barnard having the stiches removed from his hand?
  22. Lets face it, ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING is better than the Withdean. I'll reserve judgement until we play them
  23. If he wants out so badly he'll want to impress prospective clubs. Maybe worth giving a game to, even if it is only the cup game against Torquay.
