  1. Re expansion: I have a season ticket both to guarantee me a seat and sit where I choose (I don't want to sit in block 13) If I knew there would be a lot more good seats on general sale I may only buy on a "match by match" basis. It's often hard to go to all matches. I think other people would also be more selective with more seats for sale. A smaller expansion (second tier on the Kingsland) may be worth it but surely no more.
  2. (In Clive Dunn voice) DON'T PANIC, DON'T PANIC!!!
  3. He'll probably go for the Man U job when Fergie's nose goes supernova
  4. Sky have yet to reveal their May fixtures and may hold off until the last possible opportunity to see how the relegation Bun Fight goes. HTH
  5. Why QPR? A smaller club doing it's best against bigger clubs a few miles away. A great away day....and we normally win I can understand the 'Arry thing.....but the rest. WTF Also the Skates are now effectively L2.. they don't concern us...ignore.
  6. Only SISU could know. I suppose the choice of SISU or administration is rather like that joke "Death or Umbongo"
  7. If he hasn't played for France could he play for England on the basis of his long term residency? Stranger things have happened (anyone remember Zola Budd?)
  8. I can't imagine wanting to go for a drink with the guy. I don't care if he has horns growing out of his head and eats live kittens for lunch. As long as he keeps supporting Saints he's OK
  9. WE ARE SAINTS For every win against Man City there will be a match against QPR We are slowly getting there but it is still 2 steps forward and one step back But still......keep the faith
  10. Of course you did! Don't you remember Harry telling the Pompey fans as he drove out of the gate: "I'm not going up the road,no way!"
  11. Was that the 2.8% Watneys drink? (I hesitate to call it beer)
  12. Best: Villa-Home Worst: Everton-Away First Half It could have been 6-1 by half time. Rallied in the second half and unlucky not to haver got a second The restricted view at Goodison was like watching an ultra-widescreen film on an old 4:3 TV. Only the middle 20% was visible.
  13. Probably! That's what comes with supporting Saints.
  14. Does anyone know of pubs in the Isle of Wight showing this match?
  15. My wife's married but still fancies him. Can't think what he's got that I haven't!
  16. Surely we should have a Portaloo in the technical area to minimise the absence!
  17. Exactly. RL and (to a lesser extent) SCW were in overall charge and are probably more responsible. Don't forget Harry was first team coach. SCW was director of football. Lets save "Going down with the Redknapp" until after we've won.....and we can all join in.
  18. +1 (is it an age thing?)
  19. We are 4 points above relegation with 15 games to go. Reading and QPR have upped their (admittedly poor) game. Tough matches ahead. I'll feel safe when we are in a much stronger position.
  20. I cannot imagine ever going for a drink with NC. He represents some of the problems of detachment by foreign ( and some British) owners towards the grass roots. However where would we be without him? SISU? That guy who lives with his mum? Some consortium headed by RL? You don't have to like him or agree with all his decisions. After our protest tomorrow lets get behind the club in our fight for survival!
  21. How would he know what we're singing? He would not even recognise his name as it is pronounced differently by anglophones. Let's thank NA with a one minutes chant just before kick-off and then get behind the new guy. I hope this is a NC inspired move and the manager doesn't turn out to be a pendejo.
  22. It can be found just outside Budapest in a field devoted to statues of old Stalinist leaders. It probably has a better command of English than Pinoccio
  23. Let's be honest. It'll all depend on where we are at the end of ther season. My first reaction was almost fury. However life goes on and I quickly learnt to forget/ignore Alan Pardew. I will always have a soft spot for Nigel but a manager of his calibre will always get a job (and has a nice pay-off). We have to accept it's "My ball, My rules" from Cortese and we have 2 choices - like it or lump it! For good or bad it's the world we live in.
  24. Exactly. Playing in the Europa Cup without a bigger squad of PL standard players would be a disaster.
