In terms of his future involvement i'd say the quote that we'd only set up the PLC to avoid a points deduction should be the end of Leon's involvement as a representative or director of the club. He means well, in terms of his performance as chairman the only thing to criticise was sticking with D&G too long. But siding with Wilde and his renegade board evidently without checking their credentials carefully may have buried us and his constant media gaffes are no good for the future of the club. Clean slate as FC says.

it would explain why, with so much money coming in for transfers, we still hadn't got a pot to **** in, we were told by every new director that the books were a mess, ken dulieu was brough in to supposedly do a forensic accounting job (did we ever see the results of that?), and rupert was always so keen to maintain control and the pretence of best run club. with that sort of money we'd own the stadium and have paid off the barclays loan with change to spare.

surely he doesn't have to. if a buyer can be found for sfc ltd then sfc limited could sue. if all the slh debts can be settled by the administrator then SLH could maybe get in on the action. obviously no action can take place while both companies are still in the hands of the administrator, but it would still be hanging over the football league unless they forced the club out of existence.

I thought the points deduction was in place to stop clubs from wriggling out of the debts they owed to other clubs. I could be completely wrong. As things stand we're only potentially dropping some of the overdraft owed to the gits that have accelerated this situation and Aviva are willing to do a deal.
