  1. Arguable. Could just as well have been bad player handling though. He was still young at the time and Beattie was their main man up front.
  2. If Lallana is any measure, I reckon Messi would get found out pretty quickly. It's not as if Tadanari is a known quantity with a track record of european and international football against reputable sides anyway. Hands up who had even heard of the guy before he was linked to us. It's a punt at any level. Signing Sharp especially out of that group mentioned would be an investment in proven ability at this level and a reasonable punt for premier league potential.
  3. Replacing Barnard's contribution from last season will be a start.
  4. Apparently he's wonderful and 9 bad performances out of every ten is acceptable.
  5. Was there a thousand explanations of why every other team wasn't forced to do the same?
  6. If our away form is poor facing better teams away won't make much difference. What's hurting now is that our home form and performances are dropping.
  7. to keep advertised prices low it is necessary to take the balance in hidden fees. yes.
  8. actually looks like only 7 in the league including one penalty. Where did you get 14 goals from?
  9. he scored five of them against lower league teams int he cup. He's on 9 in the league and he's their penalty taker. not stellar. If it weren't for his dodg shoulder, Austin would be the guy we should be looking at.
  10. From a goal ahead it's 2/3 of a loss.
  11. The problem is it's a long dip in form now and as with Chaplow being out we've got no cover. None at all.
  12. Yeah let's stay down and lose those players instead.
  13. Are you suggesting he's finnish?
  14. How did Taibi's Manchester united career go after that?
  15. On that basis we alreqady have plenty of cover for Ricky. Bart couldn't do worse a job of covering for him than he did covering for Kelv.
  16. Agree with this. He might still have potential, but ever since his injury his nerves have been shot. Playing second fiddle is not what he needs. It's just a crutch.
  17. apparently he likes orange soda.
  18. This was a triumph...
  19. Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan...
  20. Isn't this what Fulham fans did with Malbranque?
  21. Sounds like radio controlled football genius to me.
  22. Definitely the Uzzy one. Epic Lulz
  23. Granted, but if we didn't have Holmes (who i really rate aside from his injury troubles) we might have had better backup ready than Chaplow and not only might have fared better form the off, but we'd have had Chappers to bring on in the second half where he's been so effective so far.
  24. We can but we haven't because we've got a talented player like holmes sitting there on the quad list giving the illusion of backup. It's one of my pet peeves, along with things like having a midfielder as your first choice backup for a full back position, meaning when your first choice full back gets injured you've weakened in two positions.
