I expect the minimum fee release clause also stipulated that a new born panda be delivered to his partner on valentines day. **** occam's razer.
-
Defiantly.

Is this to say he made exceptional goalkeeping efforts or is it to say that without a goalkeeper we would have lost 6-2 as these statements often boil down to?
-
Well, we scored a couple at least. We're running out of excuses for the results.
-
It is his name. Franck isn't though.

i would have thought knives would just make the bottle less water tight.

Can't hurt to have people think we haven't got money.
-
Or the rumours of harding moving away on loan might be true.
-
But is he jonno quick

Bloody Bialkowski.

I'll say it again. We will not finish in the top 2!

We're not going up, but away form is the symptom not the problem. The squad just isn't good enough and home advantage and the winning run gave us a boost while it lasted. Never mind away form. We're struggling for home form. -
And Yuki Abe has had his contract cancelled so he can go back to Japan.
-
The same time as if the rumour isn't true.

I reckon he's injured his knee and we forgot his birthday.

Except when Connolly and Lambert have both been available and When Barnard was available in league one. When they were he was in Chaplow's position. He's done well scoring this season, but he's not a clinical finisher. He's a versatile attacking midfielder in my book, he's done a job when called upon, but I don't want to rely on him to maintain that goal scoring form all season.

Can we leave that sort of negativity to the There's is more to life than Jordan flaming Rhodes thread, please?
-
Yep, there's Jordan Rhodes.
-
Yep, Poland annexed Southampton.

Which is why I'd expect a track record in english football for a player we're taking on loan with no prospect of a permanent deal when we're chasing the title. If there's no loan fee, that would sweeten it.

I take your point, but hadn't Shelvey already impressed for Charlton in League one, a couple of promising appearances in the championship before they were relegated and 15 appearances for Liverpool before he went to Blackpool? This guy has played for Villareal B, which may have been at a comparable level to the championship, but never in this country. If we're taking a punt on a loan it would be nice to reap the benefits of it going well.
-
Seems pointless anyway if we would only be road testing a player for Spurs.
-
Do Juve have a recall clause? Maybe NC's italian connections have been at work.
-
I suspect the point is that with Harding at right back we've now got no cover for either side should additional calamity befall us. Cork could move there at a push, but then we're down a first choice midfielder.
-
Jos has commented on twitter every time he scored, so they obviously get on well. Adkins and Jos as influences in our favour with the player, but celtic seem impenetrable on agreeing a fee.

I guess i'm using my final post on this then :/ Fair point, but IIRC the first time was Warnock and the second was Blackwell. Both seemed to take a similar approach tot he transfer window. Sign every striker available. And they both seemed to fill the bench with strikers at the expense of having a backup goalie. I'm not sure they had a clue what they were doing when it came to strikers. Robson brought in Beattie and Sharp, he only got one of them scoring. But no strike partner has done well when Beattie is having a good season afaik. I'm sure we'll get to see him move to a bigger club anyway and his big fish reputation will be confirmed or quashied.
