This guy has played for Villareal B, which may have been at a comparable level to the championship, but never in this country. I'm not sure they had a clue what they were doing when it came to strikers. Robson brought in Beattie and Sharp, he only got one of them scoring. But no strike partner has done well when Beattie is having a good season afaik. I'm sure we'll get to see him move to a bigger club anyway and his big fish reputation will be confirmed or quashied.
