Barry was saying perhaps churlishly that if Zaha isn't good enough for us that Lallana might not have been so perhaps we should have ditched him. Maybe you've misunderstood that to mean we should swap one for the other. My point was Hammond and Harding, and now Isgrove, Rowe and Sinclair are not only unproven in the premier league, but unproven or unexceptional in the championship. I'd have Zaha over any one of this group of players but only if we had a realistic chance of signing him permanently.

for the record, unless the loan was on very favourable financial terms I wouldn't want to take a completely unproven Zaha for the premier league and develop him for a rival. it would be falco junior all over again for me.
