that doesn't ring true to me. if that was the case they could easily clause it up to cover that eventuality.

my tickets came in individual boxes.

or the casting couch.

only 89 years to go for you to beat hillsborough's record.

wasn't he asked this question about a year after he joined us on a 4 year contract?
-
with his speed power and length he could be the new dion dublin.

that's a good way to give england a lot more depth. anybody with hopes of going to a world cup will double check they don't qualify to play for england before declaring themselves for any of the other home nations.

On the comparison between our rise and that of norwich, Norwich got a remarkable manager, weren't hobbled by a points penalty in their first season, hoovered up most of the good talent around them on their way up and didn't have to find another manager until they got to the top division. They haven't been quite so lucky with their latest choice. Cortese managed to keep momentum going despite having to change the manager a couple of times. Les Reed probably has something to do with it.

Another set piece goal from Targett today. Obviously we wouldn't want to carry on without cover but i'm encouraged by his progress and won't be slitting my wrists if we get silly money for Shaw.
-
yup... if he goes out and comes back still not in contention then he'll probably be on the way out. the U21 coach did say that him and turnbull were progressing very nicely the other day though.

is his collar sponsored? :/

condensed point: the club don't intend to stockpile players who don't stand a chance of first team football. that means if we do see players going out on loan it's with a view to moving them on. JWP's mooted loan was probably his own idea, similar to his training secretly with havant and waterloovile.

He's a cut above Tripliarella tbh.

This Agreement is from Southampton Football Club Limited and signed on behalf of Southampton FC. SFC Ltd was never in administration. Southampton Leisure Holdings was the holding company as DMWSL 613 is now. Only the Holding company SLH was liquidated.

full steam backwards after we sold chamberlain.

I bet Mr Tesco is Kicking himself. He bought far too many groceries and now he has to sell them all. He doesn't even shop at Tesco.

as a policy we were in a lower league until last year and the kids were simply forcing their way into the first team. the kids who didn't weren't going to be premier league players but who knows if they'd have eventually made championship players for us. Baird, Surman, Lallana, McGoldrick, Best all went out on loan IIRC. Going back further Oakley and Bridge didn't.

if Berahino came from Ivory Coast he'd have a cap by now.
-
I don't doubt there were problems. IIRC his parkinsons had already been diagnosed before he joined us. Still, the only remaining candidates are Redknapp and Wigley. I'm sticking with my pecking order.

The real reason that we sacrificed the cups...

well obviously. if he wins the cup and relegates sunderland he'll get a job somewhere else like martinez did. -
is that the nine years between him and strachan? if so he's top dog of a group in which Nigel Adkins and Paul Sturrock sit second and third who each spent only five months in charge of the club in the top flight.
-
true enough you can't knock him for selecting yoshida and hooiveldbut when your centre back pairing is already hobbled it makes sense not to weaken the team directly in front of and behind them.
