  1. if forster wasn't out long term would we have taken stekelenberg on loan? if Forster wasn't expected to be out for most if not all of the season we wouldn't have taken stekelenberg on loan. Kelvin is our second choice.
  2. he's behind you.
  3. a shot across the bowels? how rude.
  4. think again http://www.funis2cool.com/unusual/megamouth-shark-captured-in-philippines.html
  5. kitson is a lot better informed than the usual suspects.
  6. i was wondering what fonte had done for a minute there.
  7. so they'll be dressing up as jesus and preaching on youtube then?
  8. they had about three players on the books and he costs them nothing while he's not playing.
  9. a poor man's Svensson, except he cost a lot more.
  10. fair point. cedric didn't cope well when lukaku attacked from our right.
  11. you mean the difference between our yoshida and chambers, is that chambers could pull it off as a like for like replacement. we might be better off getting Richardson and harding back at the moment tbh.
  12. this is true and basically makes the case that any player valued significantly higher than we would pay to fill his position should be sold as if we lost them long term we'd have thrown away the difference.
  13. did he rate you?
  14. If Bialkowski could become a decent keeper after his post injury crisis in which he forgot he was allowed to handle the ball, perhaps Gazza can overcome a shaky start with us. Send him to Notts County.
  15. you wouldn't want a nurse trying to care for 30,000-160,000,000 other people at the same time as dealing with your serious medical incident either.
  16. with cedric, virgil and bertrand we'll have a defence that is very comfortable on the attack.
  17. they also have the luxury of pitting players against league one and championship standard opposition to break them in.
  18. wasn't that because our favourite smarmy big nosed cant was managing watford at the time and stole him on loan for the second half of the season due to his relationship with chelsea and the player?
  19. Anthony Pulis?
  20. if there's any truth in it, we are working aroudn the clock to get him interested in signing an extended contract for double the salary.
  21. where is all this not tall stuff coming from? he looks a decent height to me. wikipedia and the premier league website has him down as 6ft tall which is taller than schneiderlin and schneiderlin always looked taller than wanyama (6ft2? my arse)
  22. recycling of this 10 day old vine?
  23. how much did we spend on those quality players and how certain were we that they would be top premier league standard? we're in the unfortunate position now where we can't give players a few years in league one and the championship to get up to speed. we can't blood youngsters at a forgiving level of football, surrounded by players who are playing several levels below their eventual peak. the formula that tookus up doesn't work any more.
  24. it's a new 5 year plan. i liked the last one from the start. not sure about this one. momentum seems to have been squandered. it will be tough to build it again.
  25. second thoughts, it's only the wages he's really overlooked. if we replaced wayama we'd be theoretically 6m in profit (excluding agent fees and golden handshakes) and have a player with two or more years extra on his contract and would ideally leave us in the same position in two years time with 6m in pocket it's another gamble but letting wanyama wind down his contract is guaranteed to lose value.
