  1. Does anyone have any suggestions for the cheapest rail travel to Swansea on the Saturday and return on the Sunday, 3 adults are coming out at £148.80 up on the Saturday and same for the return on the Sunday! Way too expensive, ideas please!!!
  2. More hospitality space on its way at SMS, but it appears the staff have lost their "recreation room" or they are going to be allowed to consume alcohol in there! Application for a Premises Licence - Southampton Football Club Limited 21-09-2015 02:43 PM BST Licensing Act 2003, (Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificates) Regulations 2005, regulations 26A and 26B Notice of Application Received Application to Vary a Premises Licence Reference 2015/02771/01SPRV Southampton Football Club Limited Southampton Football Club, St Mary's Stadium , Britannia Road Southampton SO14 5FP Southampton City Council, as licensing authority, hereby gives notice that Southampton Football Club Limited has applied under the Licensing Act 2003 to Vary a Premises Licence as follows To increase the area for consumption of alcohol to include a new area for hospitality which formed part of the staff recreation room. No time or activity change. The relevant licensing authority is Southampton City Council, and the statutory register, including the application, may be inspected on the City Council’s web site at http://www.southampton.gov.uk/licensing or at their offices at Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY between 09:00 and 12:00 or between 14:00 and 16:00, Mondays to Fridays.
  3. Then I am pretty sure the Ticket Office will politely decline the request Pat, they were pretty adamant no refunds for these spare 2 tickets last night.
  4. Agree that the photo ID for ticket exchange in Denmark on match day is not an option without the PhotoID. The only way we can think of is if we can arrange to meet at the Ticket Office at St Mary's to 'negotiate' with them to allow us to get a refund and then re sell them to you so the tickets are in your name, but that again could be problematic if you do not meet the lowest selling criteria for the match as published by the club for these 2 tickets. Would you qualify under the criteria down to yesterday when they sold out?
  5. Two of our group planning to go next week have had their holiday requests refused today, visited the ticket office on the way home after the game tonight and the 'official response' is that "..we cannot refund the tickets and re allocate to someone who is actually able to attend the game in Denmark." Is there anyone who wants 2 away tickets who would be willing to meet at the Ticket office to negotiate the transfer of the 2 we have purchased which will go to waste if there is no flexibility to be shown by the ticket office to offer to people who can make the game next week.
  6. Two of us used this for the trip to Steau in 2003, no issues with the trip at all, apart from the @1 hour queue at the second airport in Bucharest in the rain having been rained on for most of the match, having been beaten as well!
  7. No official Saints, see last sentence of article:- Please note that, due to the small ticket allocation, the club is unable to offer an official travel package for this fixture.
  8. If there was a meeting with a new player it must have been concluded pretty early on as Ronald was was sitting outside of the Oxford Brasserie yesterday evening before 7pm eating a meal, looking very relaxed and stress free!
  9. I used the southamptonawaytravel.co.uk travel for the first time ever for Swansea away last month, yes it left Southampton Central Station early, but the day went well, the free refreshments were perfect, free wifi on the coach as well. The stop for refreshments was at a Motorway Services, where if you went to the petrol station you could buy a couple of beers to neck in the 30/40 minutes stop off. With the loo on board to alleviate any desperation before arriving at the stadium! We arrived at the Liberty Stadium at 1pm, plenty of time to get away from the ground to find a pub for a few more beers. Then straight away after the game with the police escort to get a head start on the rest of the traffic. Agree with the train option to London, giving more freedom and options to find a pub, but on a longer journey I would recommend you try it and see if it suits you.
  10. Tomorrow 1.30pm at a bar in Swansea to be arranged in due course....
  11. sure understand thanks
  12. Well the power of the internet works again, I am the Billy you asked about, met Mark in a pub up there after the game 2 seasons ago (0-0), did he leave you a contact number
  13. Just been to Ticket Office this morning, as the Web Sales say this is sold out as the first batch of tickets have been sold. But they are awaiting delivery of more tickets from Plymouth in the 'next couple of days'. But you can fill in a reservation form at the ticket office with your details, cusnos of all the ST holders who are going, the number of tickets you want and leave your debit / credit card details on the form. They will then allocate and post to you this coming week when they have arrived.
  14. Over here in the far north staying with frends who have Sky TV but they say they do not get the FA Cup. Is the game on Saturday likely to be on TV or is there an internet site available to be able to watch the match?
