took my girlfriend to bristol city away a few years ago, on valentines day. all my mates had bottled it coz they didnt want to let their girlfriends down so this was the only option i could see at the time. before we left she put on some new boots which had fairly high heels. i told her to stop being stupid and put something else on but she assured me nothing would go wrong. on the train there she complained her feet were hurting and by the time we arrived at the pub in bristol she took her boots off and her feet were bleeding. i could have left her there on her own i was so mad. we did end up going to the football and we were absolutely ****, think we lost 2-0. we left early and went home.

Are there any people planning to travel by train on their own or in a 5? There are 3 of us going and we'd like a 4th to make this cheaper on the train.

how can anyone say he played that well? he was ok and yes he did seem to worry a few defenders but at least twice that i can remember his touch once again let him down. i think he should have started (due to injuries etc) but i personally still think he isnt good enough. hopefully adkins will finally see that playing hammond, spider and cork just doesnt work!!

has to be lee will rock you. yes it is pretty sh!t but all the other ones are too long and wont be sung. like someone else mentioned it has to be short and catchy. other than lamberts i cant think of any longish chants for our players? i'm sure i will be corrected - probably by hypo

i wasnt suggesting that forte was any good or any better than de ridder. was simply saying that i dont think de ridder has done much and from what i've seen he's been pretty useless. if he really was that good he would be playing a lot more minutes and should have done more by now
