  1. Hope Les and Wreck-It-Ralph are wearing tin hats tonight as they will be on the receiving end of fans displeasure if we don't win which is probable given our dreadful winless run and inept manager. 5 weeks to get someone with pace which was an obvious requirement for months. To leave it to the last day with seemingly no plan B stinks. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  2. Spartak would probably prefer to wait until the summer where they would have more interested clubs in for him. Not many clubs will shell out £30m in January. If we want him we have more chance in this window but we will have to pay a premium to do so. We desperately need someone with pace and a genuine goal threat. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  3. Club want to put up a new building for sports science dept which has got permission I believe. A new entrance point from the Marchwood bypassing over by the academy pitch end. On site parking for spectators. The plan is to boarder off training pitches and main building to prevent access from academy pitch end. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  4. 4 year contract according to Ed Aarons (Guardian) Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  5. When I searched Monaco injury list he doesn't appear. Do you know for certain he's injured? Given our quick need for striker can't see us buying player with hamstring injury. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  6. Echo basically confirming saints in for both promes and carrillo. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/15887042.Saints_hope_for__good_week__with___50m_double_swoop/?ref=rss Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  7. Another Wilson article. Probably club fed PR fluff as per usual but he claims we are in talks over quincy promes as well as carrillo. https://twitter.com/TeleFootball/status/954776856221442049 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  8. Two points here 1. Club do monitor this forum or at least they use to. Jim Lucas admitted this when he was working at club. 2. Most posters on here are also active on twitter and/or Facebook. It's clear 98% of online fan base have had enough of pellegrino. Probably 60-70% want change at board level. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  9. Bit like pellegrino was this fella would have been no where near top of the list of targets. Unfortunately due to Les and Ralphs dithering, penny pinching and "small club" mentality we find ourselves looking for bottom of the barrel crap. Totally self inflicted incompetence. Had they sacked the clown post Leicester defeat and lined up deals using known vvd money it is highly likely we would be in better position. Obviously lining up deals early comes at a premium but arguably better investment than our current strategy of doing **** all and hope for the best. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  10. I see jaidi was in Tunisia today at some event so I assume Martin hunter in charge tonight. Explains alot ..... Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  11. Erik Sviatchenko apparently flew into London city airport from Glasgow so unlikely he's coming to us. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  12. A good manager would have done something about it. He simply has no plan B or ability to make positive changes. This isn't the first time we've given a chalk and cheese performance. If it's down to personnel then why the hell are we on day 14 of the window and still no signings when we have known our glaringly obvious weaknesses since August? It is largely down to tactics and 98% of fans can see that. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  13. Pellegrino told bbc solent two targets will hopefully sign next week. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  14. Wow Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  15. I agree. He's direct and dynamic. Complete opposite to Nathan redmond. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  16. David ornstein from bbc backs up what has already been discussed on here. Everton lead race due to wilingness to meet asking fee and wages. Both clubs have held high level talks with arsenal. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  17. Not a sniff of anyone signing. Unfortunately for us we received a world record fee for a defender before the window even opened. Our board are surely not that stupid to have not preempted every player we go in for will have there price tag elevated just because we are deemed cash rich? Normally we hold out to get the best deals which is admirable in normal circumstances but we are in a mess and there has been no evidence pellegrino can turn it around by himself. How many games have we actually played well in this season? 3 or 4? I would love to know the thought process in deciding to sell vvd before window opens but not be prepared to pay a premium for players (fees or wages) to give us a better chance of escaping relegation by getting them in early rather than 4 weeks down the line where we could be more or less doomed. As it stands no one believes pellegrino can turn it around apart from the dimwitted board (supposedly). Players have zero confidence and have no licence to express themselves outside of a rigid and dull system we play. Our best hope is to inject some experience and life into the squad with known quality of players even if just loan deals but pay the wages required. Our next 4 games include Watford, Brighton and WBA. These are games we need to win but there is no chance of that without strengthening squad. nothing else will change. Same players will continue to play backward passes then get nose bleeds when they get anywhere near opposition box. Pellegrino ain't going anywhere. He's the perfect yes man for the board. That crap today about pellegrino being grateful for board being worried and concerned about improving squad. Ffs. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  18. Should have sacked him after losing to Leicester. Our board would rather keep pellegrino and buy cheap than get rid and back new manager with sizeable funds. Vvd sale was all about getting maximum valuation which wouldn't be the case in summer when we are relegated. I truly despise what Reed and Kruegar are doing to our club. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  19. Why would it be rushing when Reed has stated that black box is always being updated by recruitment team so they are aware of x players for x positions who would meet x criteria? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  20. Our form and league placement means recruitment is needed pronto. If we leave it til end of month bearing in mind new players need to be integrated etc we could be one foot in the championship by then. Our fixtures at tail end of season aren't to kind on paper whereas games coming up against Watford, WBA and BHA represent seemingly better opportunities to gain much needed points. but we need reinforcements that will somehow implement pellegrino's warped tactics to get the required results. Current squad have zero confidence and a scrappy and arguably fortuitous win at Fulham won't change that. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  21. £70m guaranteed rather than upfront is my understanding. This is why club planning to spend it over several transfer windows. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  22. Yes but if you buy someone from abroad rather than someone who has performed well in PL then it's obviously a risk. If it works out great as we save ourselves a lot of money and resale value is high but in the situation we are in we are taking an even greater risk should we continue with our recruitment model. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  23. Very concerning how much control Reed seemingly has at the club. I genuinely think we are heading into a very dark place as a club. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  24. I'm pretty certain he left under a cloud. I recall reading or hearing something in relation to the takeover that led to his exit. Seems pretty clear Gao family have no interest in football side of things and our recruitment policy will remain the same Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
  25. Part 2 of Kruegar interview with Echo. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/15804864.BIG_INTERVIEW__Krueger_outlines_Gao_s_ambitions/ Full of **** as per usual. What is clear though there will be no on field investment from owners. It's all about expanding the brand into China and developing land around stadium is my take on it.
