Nope I get the welcome page advertising 2010/11 season fixtures "be the first to know". http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Welcome/0,,10280,00.html

Be great signing. Always the danger man when he plays against us. Would have scored a couple at St Marys if it wasnt for KD.

I think it is normal to relay the pitch prior to start of a new season. They wouldn't want the same pitch withstanding another season even if it is the best pitch in the country.

Billy Paynter off to Leeds according to SSN. http://www.skysports.com/football/transfer_clockwatch/0,23710,14896,00.html -
MLT doing the rounds today then as he is on Talksport as well this afternoon.
-
I am sure it is Talk Sport not R5L unless he is on both stations today.

These two post's are the most moronic ones I have ever read on this forum and that is saying something. Idiots!!!!

The installment plan would go through a finance company so it is ineffect the same process as applying for a credit card in that you could be declined if you had bad credit rating. It actually turns out I have just applied for a new credit card which offers 0% for 12 months on purchases so in theory I could buy a ST using the card and be no worse off then if I was too pay by Installments. However I dont think it is acceptable that fans should be made to pay in one lump sum or worse still be made to get a credit card.
-
Surely the club would have looked to see how many STH's paid by installments and made decision based on that in which case you think that only a small percentage paid by installments! I would be shocked if they made this decision even though a "significant" number of fans paid by installments especially since they were later than any other club in announcing the ST prices. I for one paid by installments when I had a ST.

Elliot Ward has joined Norwich. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/8706328.stm -
Reading have big financial problems so they will naturally try and get maximum fee for Antonio regardless whether he is worth it or not and with Saints being the Man City of the Fotoball league they will certainly bump up there valuation. He is a really good impact player for us so lets hope we can get him. I dont think he has the stamina for 90 minutes then again a good pre season may change that like it did for Lambert last year.

Club 'transparency' worse than ever?
jasoneuelllfanclub replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
The club have been very quiet on all fronts whether it be AP, ST's, Seating plan, Programme etc which is a concern. I am hoping th ST issue is due to the seating plan not being concluded. I can't think of any reason why the club would be quiet on AP's situation and the programme recall unless it was more to it. I am not in favour of sacking AP yet we fans have no influence on this so if NC is going to do it then he needs to do it pronto so we can have pre season with a manager, new players, rid of deadwood and dont use "the team needs to gel" excuse at the start of the season. -
Pardew and board to meet Thursday now...?
jasoneuelllfanclub replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
I hope you are right. I wouldn't want Cotteril to replace Pards! -
That doesnt tie up with solent saying the recall was requested by Pardew. Surely Pardew wouldnt get involved in an Advertising dispute! I think Solent source is slightly more credible then the Echo but we will have to wait and see I guess.

Well deserved.

Jay MacEveley has been released by Derby but played 33 times for them this season. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/8662147.stm Not sure if any good mind you! -
It is evident that we need a playmaker in the centre of the park especially when morgan is unavailable as we struggle to create a tempo in our game i.e oldham game. Brown will not offer us anything else that we already have in wotton. I still think brian stock will join us the summer.
-
Gillingham have Norwich on Saturday who may have a promotion hangover and with Gills fighting against the drop they may well cause a shock however they will still need to get something from saints game to ensure safety. It is possible for Charlton to only get a point from last 3 games probably against Oldham and hope they lose to Leeds and Exeter. Both those teams will have something to play for which makes it interesting. Huddersfield will surely beat Stockport therefore we need to pray that both Exeter and Colchester do us a big big favour. I just hope that with all these "what if's" that saints dont shoot themsleves in the foot and fail to win all their games as that would be our own fault and not down to bad luck should we miss out with 78 points.
-
I think James has an injury that will require surgery in the summer. He didnt even make the bench on Saturday which is a concern. When fit he was one of AP's golden boys so him not being on the bench suggests his injury is not able to withstand any action prior to surgery. I would play Lallana or Punch in midfield and let Hammond be the holding midfielder. Obviously not has good as Morgan with the ball but much better that Wotton.
-
to be honest we all expected huddersfield to beat walsall before the game so we shouldn't feel to down about it even though they scored twice in inury time. All we can do is win all our games and pray it will be enough. We will be pretty unlucky if 78 points doesnt clinch a PO spot.
-
I dont understand this 4-5-1 obsession with AP. We need to win all our games so why be negative? Yes on paper it looks a great midfield but 4-5-1 has never suited saints ever! All our best results/performances were when we played 4-4-2 just hope I am proved wrong today - coyr
