Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .
jasoneuelllfanclub replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Reckon west ham will beat brum. Reading to draw at brighton. My heart says we will win at palace but head says draw. -
I think adkins will freshen it up a bit. Can even see lambert being rested or on bench. Maybe play chaplow and lallana behind sharp with lallana the playmaker and chaplow making runs. Then a midfield 3 of hammond cork and puncheon. I think martin will come in for fonte as well and dare I say it harding for fox. We have a few injuries at the moment but our squad still better than readings squad so adkins will be mindful that reading play tues and therefore have less recovery time plus will likely have less options to freshen the team for their game at brighton.

I am going to go against popular opinion and blame guly and harding for their goals Seriously if we get 7 points from these 3 games that would be a giant step to promotion. Yes a draw against skates it poor but had we won today and drawn at palace and won against reading we would all be happy with that.

Kris Temple @kristemple Close #Saintsfc striker Rickie Lambert back to face #Pompey on Saturday

why dont the mods start a poll and then we can see the most popular choices and therefore the ones which are mostly likely to be sung.

something doesn't add up with this injury in that club have made no comment or announcement about him being out for the rest of the season. i am sure i read he was pushing for recall on either the doncaster or blackpool preview article on the os. the opposition will have seen reports on him being ruled out for the season so unless the reports are inaccurate and he has chance of playing this season there seems little point in not making it known.

The fact club have made no comment on tadanari lee and having barnard do interview could all be part of the plan to deceive skates on our tactics and line up. If lee is really injured for 4 months why not just come out with it esp since it is in the public domain already. Wishful thinking I know but I wouldn't be at all surprised if lee played on sat.

email reply from TO If we sell out our initial Peterborough allocation we can request more tickets from the club. Our maximum allocation will be 5,000

as long as reading don't beat leeds on friday then we should sing "we are southampton we are top of the league". It generates so much noise and will drown out the blue few. Watch you tube video of it being sung against brighton - incredible noise

Lee - out for 4-6 months according to Japanese press

I saw lee last weds in his mercedes and there seemed no problem with his right foot reaching for the accelerator let's hope it is an unfounded rumour -
I knew phillips and ince would cause us problems but playing diamond formation was just asking for trouble. We are not a one man team but lambert brings out the best in the other players so when he doesn't play we look a shadow of ourselves
-
Middlesboro given us 4027 tickets so regardless if we well sell them or not at least they are accommodating us. Like I say no mention of more to follow. We will sell 1700 no problem.
-
Only 1700k allocated. No mention of more if need be. Surely a mistake seeing west sham took 5,000 fans the other nite? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2707077,00.html

Club Finance Story - On Solent from 7am this morning

Yes the Liebherrs may decide to sell in the future but I have utmost confidence in Cortesi to carry on taking the club forward. I am sure he will only sanction a sale in the best interests of the club as well as ensure he and the liebherrs get a sizeable return on their investment. Les Read was talking about making it a sustainable project for the next 20-30 years, so with or without the liebherrs I truly believe the club is in good hands. should we get to them premiership we will become a very attractive purchase given our stadium is debt free, training ground will be world class, big fan base with huge catchment area and last but not least a young up and coming manager who's reputation is growing by the day. its all good on the south coast so keep calm guys and enjoy the ride:) -

Where has 33m come from then? If private investor or creditor such as bank lent it then do they now have shares in club? -
Amazing how all the doom merchants come out and knock a project which is going to be the envy of the footballing world. 15m will be well spent if it improves current squad, attracts high calibre players and the youth production line becomes even more productive than before. It will soon pay for itself. People can't knock the team so they have to find another excuse to try and down on the club.

block 11 upper is available. that is about all by the looks of it for upper side seats.

i do think west spam will win their next two games which will put a little added pressure on our game at blackpool. however adkins one game at a time philosophy and not under-estimating the opposition will lead us in good stead. we may all have a chuckle at adkins collection of clichés but you can sense the players totally buy into it which is why we have such a great team spirit and work ethic.

Live on BBC1 5.25pm kick off Should be a cracking game, both attacking teams who have scored lots of goals. Blackpool defence is very leaky so if we can keep both phillips quiet then we have a good chance of taking 3 points.

What happens if tickets still remain after Saturday's game? will they go on general sale to fans on database with out being linked to reading game?

Doncaster build up thread

i wonder if he will rest fox as he felt his groin a little hence being subbed on tuesday. same injury which forced him to miss ipswich game i think. fox is an really important player for us so nige will have to weigh up whether to risk him for donny game and help us get another 3 points on the board or save him for what is on paper a harder game at blackpool. i would worry more about harding playing at blackpool then against donny.
