As much as Bologna will try and weed as much out of us as possible saints wont hang around. So if this deadline set by cortesi is true then we should know either way come end of the day. i think saints hold the cards in this deal unless of course another club come in with more money upfront. cant see it personally as the norm is to spread payments over the course of the players contract nowadays.

bologna want to take out a loan based on the overall transfer fee (minus slice given to players old club) so they can buy players immediately. the loan will then be secured against repayments by saints. so it seems we are just waiting for bologna to get a loan approved then its a done deal however they have just 24 hours to get this done as cortesi unhappy with being messed around. other targets will be pursued if no resolution today.

so many different version of events out there hard to know what is the truth. all coming from italy press so it seems bologna are deliberately leaking out info to try and force saints hand or attract new interest.

as the selling club it is in your interest to command the biggest fee possible so all these "leaks" from italy suggest bologna are making one final attempt to get other clubs interested and offer better terms than saints. if nothing forthcoming they will no doubt take up our offer. it will be a waiting game albeit not up until end of the window. be resolved either way by tomorrow imo.

Agreed. Phillips can only get better whereas jarvis probably reached near his peak. Phillips will cause defenders a lot more problems than jarvis. Just hope we can get him. We would then be 2 decent CB's away from a team that should be match for most.

lallana loves playing for saints and was proud as anyone on our back to back promotions, so to write he has looked disinterested is an absolute insult to him. he is saints through and through and if MLT thinks he is a great player then that is good enough for me.

there is no way adkins would stick around if he was being forced to play a certain formation. no one can deny we need to adopt a new formation alternative to combat being overrun in midfield. current 4-4-2 and diamond version doesnt do that.

This lad is awesome and would be icing on the cake for us in terms of attacking additions. He has pace to burn and has good eye for goal. Let's hope phillips is interested and forces the issue otherwise we won't get him

I think what they mean by a mobile solution is a trimmed down version of the desktop version so mobile devices can display pages. I actually thought the CH5 commentary was good. Both seemed to have done homework on saints. They mixed up commentating on game with some informative info with out ever waffling.
