Unfortunately I havent seen the last few games but I have read multiple posts referring to lambert as looking disinterested. If this is true then this is a real worry. If our most influential player has a gripe then fook knows what the team morale is like in general. Is it a case of he is just low in confidence like the rest of the team and is his body language is giving the wrong impression or do fans believe he is unhappy?

On Friday Adkins said it was being dealt with and he would not be commenting further on it. Nothing about it being concluded. Do enlighten us if something has changed since then.

Cork is not match fit and no other quality options so Lallana in more orthodoxed CM role. Ramirez to play in the hole and be main source of creativity. Hopefully using JRod's decent pace to good effect. Should it go t1ts up (likely) then drop JRod into deeper role and have him and Ramirez rotating sides.

New York Giants

Quality line up although one thing missing is pace to get behind the defence. I am unsure if Lambert, Lallana and Ramirez can all be accommodated in starting lineup with out sacrificing the midfield. My feeling is that Mayuka and Jay Rod would suit the striker role better should AL and GR play behind. I personally would play Ramirez alongside Cork and Morgan and then have Lallana/Lambert/JayRod or Mayuka up top.

why are you getting your knickers in a twist? surely if it was posted on a members only forum it can still easily be accessed by anyone? you only have to join the group so not exactly MI5 secrecy is it, unless I am missing something?

actually this is the worst season to be relegated as the TV payments increase massively next season under the new TV deal. we need to somehow stay up this season and then use the extra money to make sure we are not in a relegation battle again.

Why do people keep referring to January as our saving grace? it will be too late by then. i love adkins but it is clear he is out of his depth and no one can honestly hand on heart be confident he will change our fortunes. yes our back four + keeper(s) are nowhere near PL quality but that should have been dealt with back in the summer.

got a feeling he will be involved in this game. be interesting to see what adkins does in terms of accommodating ramirez should he go with three out and out strikers up top. i would personally like to see ramirez behind a front two of lambert/mayuka Lallana could make way, especially since his inability to track runs of the right back and help fox out causes us all sorts of problems.

sorry but this is balls. QPR are rubbish. they are less of a team collectively than we are. Reading are better in defence granted but not in midfield or attack.

QPR are bottom for a reason. There defence is almost as bad as ours. There are 5-6 teams that are really struggling and should all be looking over there shoulder including Saints, QPR and Reading.

It will be interesting to see how the players pick themselves up. In the past they have had Nige drawing a line under a defeat and moving on with a smile on his face but given his somewhat sombre demeanour and lack of answers during the post match interview I wonder if they have the character to lift themselves individually and collectively. Just a side thought has anyone thought that the building work disruption at Staplewood has coincided with our poor form even thinking back to tail end of last season when work began? Has it affected our preparation and training methods? Just a thought nothing more than that, just interested to know it others have thought the same.

I don't think ramirez will be out for 4 weeks altho west brom game more realistic I think. Let's use mayuka's pace and get behind the slow spurs defence (gallas/caulker). Walker was woeful yesterday so hopefully lallana will get some joy out of him.

To be fair with out fox and ramirez we are fair less dangerous from set pieces. For a team like us set pieces will prove invaluable even when team not playing well as proved last week. Fox wouldn't have done any worse than yoshida yesterday that's for sure. 2nd and 4th goals he was at fault for.

Agree with you on most of the above. NC is here to do a job not to make friends. No doubt he is very ruthless and maybe even a control freak but as long as he has the clubs best interests as #1 priority then all the doubters/haters need to let him get on with his job and just enjoy the ride.

I am assuming Ramirez will receive the very best physio and medical care available which I hope will see him recover quicker than you did. fingers crossed.

he has let in 7 goals for the 1st team and the only one he should have done better with was jelovic's header. i think he has offered far greater assurance to our beleaguered defence than kelvin ever did.

good assessment. injuries are taking its toll currently so the two week break is a blessing. i think team will improve once we have key players such as ramirez, clyne, and cork fit. our bench will look a lot stronger for it as well with lee and boruc also to come into the fold. i think lallana needs to step up to the plate especially in the absence of ramirez which could be the next few games if his injury is as severe as we fear it is. I do think we need a box to box midfielder like a yaya toure type player who not only has a great engine but also others that much needed steel in the middle of the park.

It was clear as day we struggled once Lambert went off. He is the one player that makes us tick regardless of his own personal performance. We lost all attacking threat after gilt come on. Thankfully our set pieces were still good

people on here need to get a grip. if there is a better and more economical way to supply matchday programmes then it makes perfect sense to me. we live in a digital world with amazing technology at our disposal so only natural the club want to make use of this moving forward. that said, wish they applied that to the website and online shop. truly terrible experience.
