Summary please for those that can't be bothered to switch on there computer?

As great as lambert has been for us his lack of mobility does make us very one dimensional. This is particularly a problem at home when onus is on us to take game to away team esp mid table and below teams. We came unstuck against WBA, Sunderland, QPR etc because we lacked pace and guile to get beyond a rigid defensive line. Not just lamberts lack of pace but the 3 behind him lack pace to get beyond defenders. JRod no slouch but unless upfront his pace doesn't count for much cus he is not a winger. Although it was proven fact Jrod gave us something extra hence we played our best with him in the team. However to win the winnable games on paper we do need pace and variety going forward ie winger and a rickie like striker but with pace. We was lucky with injuries last season and cannot expect lambert to play as many games given his age as well. Niggling injuries will start to creep in. Still think lambert will be key player but not a shoe in for selection every week

I would take with pinch of salt. Earlier in week he stated he knew player name but didn't know age then came out with he is 24. Strange to say banega or lamela, sounds like BS.

If true then it would be Gary hooper but it seems to me the cabbies are on a wind up. I think they deliberately planted a seed on saintsfc hashtag to grab attention and then carried on dropping clues in other tweets between them.

I am starting to think this Wanyama soap opera is just a decoy for saints to do another deal elsewhere without media intrusion. I can see the Don pulling off a biggie by the end of the week. Just like Lovren deal there wasnt intense media speculation which allowed saints to complete a deal.

Can't see Cardiff spending 10m on wanyama and 8m on ince. As far as I am aware they are not especially wealthy. Maybe I am wrong but they are just as likely to be used as much as we have.

There are a couple of twitter accounts (saints fans) who are saying a "big" signing will be unveiled on friday at the same time as new kit is revealed. one of them reckon a 2nd signing will be unveiled on friday also and possibly another one earlier this week if all goes to plan. Maybe BS but they are both adamant that friday is the day and claim they have different sources that match up with what has been heard. We shall see.

He is quoted in Goal.com article this morning saying we would be his "last choice". If true I wouldn't want him here if that's his attitude. I know saint lard tweeted the photo but who took the photo as well as where and when? Could be a prototype that was canned for all we know.

I think he would offer decent competition for morgan and cork and gives real strength in that area. No need for Banega in my mind who seems to have a lot of baggage with him. We have enough attacking midfielders who can play that key pass just we need the right type of striker to allow them to do that. Plus we need a winger to gives us another dimension going forward.

Actually he was. Lost Jo (waste of space at Man City) for 3rd goal. Good defender when ball is in front of him but like the rest of our defenders not so good when ball played in behind.
