  1. I only recall him saying Goodison Park as the ground he would most like to score at. He was an Everton fan growing up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. £27m debt is a drop in the ocean compared to most clubs in PL. It is a manageable debt as confirmed by Kruegar. Given increases in TV revenue, league placing revenue and in the long term commercial revenue then I dont see any real reason to worry. Yes I still think we will sell 2-3 valuable player assets but that is more player driven, not to do with debts.
  3. The fact is we do not work the opposition keeper no where near enough. Our attempts on target stats are appalling. Aside from lallana, Jrod is our most influential player.
  4. The full statement is even more reassuring then the snippets on club twitter feed. I still think Shaw will end up moving on but if we can keep the rest and add to squad I would be happy with that.
  5. He is brilliant actually. When did we last pose a goal threat without him playing?
  6. Thevman hasn't given us any reason to doubt him based on previous ITK posts so why doubt him now? It seemed clear to me he knows Lallana personally therefore his source remains solid. We shall see but i suspect we are in for a rude awakening this summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I think Shaw is nailed on for Utd move. Too many things starting to add up which are facts not just rumours/**** stirring in media. 1. Shaw stayed up overnight in Manchester after City game when rest of team flew back same day. 2. Moyes claimed after Munich game last week he has players lined up who want to join Utd 3. Shaw favourited a tweet from Utd fan who tweeted saying they hope he signed Utd. On their own they may not amount to much, just coincidence but collectively it starts piecing together. Add in Thevman's post as well. To be fair he would be first choice there and obviously they are a huge club so cant blame him. £30m would be sound business if reinvested into team. He is not indispensable unlike Lallana imo.
  8. Wonder why Thevman has all of sudden posted after weeks of no activity? Something imminent happening? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This debate will be best served once we know boards intentions. If they fully back Poch in terms of funds and keeping best players then this increase may be justified. A better product would be served you could argue. However if we have a summer of selling our best players and Poch leaving then this debate will be intensified.
  10. I think we will get a point at Villa in a drab 0-0 then lose the other games. One goal will be scored in the last 4 games. So slow and predictable in attack without Jay Rod.
  11. Cardiff to win 1-0 @ 16/1. Nice odds! Need to bring Clyne back in to add much needed pace to our attacks. Push the fullbacks on and get crosses in for Lambert and Gallagher. Play Lallana in the hole. Midfield three of Morgan/Cork/Davis
  12. I can verify this. Mrs is from skateville and she has webbed feet:lol:
  13. Saints 1 Cardiff 0 Villa 0 Saints 0 Saints 0 Everton 2 Swansea 2 Saints 0 Southampton 1 Man Utd 3 Just cant see where the goals will come from with out Jay Rod. Be far too easy to defend against. Jay opens up defences with his pace which also benefits Lambert and Lallana.
  14. I believe Shaw stayed up in Manchester on Saturday night whilst rest of the squad flew back after the game judging by some tweets me made. I know his parents were at the game which is normal but perhaps they all met up with someone from one of the Manchester clubs? I know in the past he hasn't always traveled back with squad when playing in London as he would go straight home with his parents but this seems a bit odd.
  15. Jrod should be either 1st or 2nd. Our attacks are one dimensional and easy to defend against with out him. No one else will get behind the opposition defence. Some of you on here really underestimate Jrod's importance to the team
  16. It will be a struggle without Jrod in my opinion. His pace and power gives us another dimension and edge to our attacks. We wont get behind the Cardiff defence without him so we will be reliant on fullbacks to get forward and put balls into the box for Lambert. Can see us labouring to a 1-0 win - Lambert pen
  17. dont think saints will want to do player exchange in any Shaw deal. They will want to receive world record transfer fee for a fullback to further empathise how good our academy is. However Lukaku would be perfect for us. Can you imagine a front 3 of Lukaku, Lallana and Rodriguez, that would be immense.
  18. Yep I would go with this as well. JWP will count himself unlucky to be dropped after last weeks impressive team performance but we need our best players for this game and Morgan/Davis/Corky are our best fit midfielders (assuming Morgan will be fit). Such a shame we wont get to see Wanyama v Toure this season would of been very interesting.
  19. You have made me laugh mate. You have totally misread what I wrote and then wet your pants over it. I was actually defending Cortese:)
  20. Cortese did great things at our club there is no doubt about that. The players appeared to love him and why wouldnt they given the lavish contracts and bonuses they received. On the flip side he did make enemies and was very egotistical which could explain poor commercial revenue under his watch. Lets move on but we shouldnt completely disregard the good things he achieved at the club. Some of you have very short memories.
  21. I think the new tv deal will show a significant increase in total revenue in next years books plus hopefully we will get a much bigger brand on the shirts next season we are in a good position to negotiate a good deal given the clubs successes on the pitch and positive media exposure club has had this season. just hope Poch gets funds to add the 3-4 quality players needed to take us up another level. Would require about £30m to do that I think, so KL will need to dig deep if she is to fulfill his and the players ambitions.
  22. Just looking at that Stoke shirt reminds me why I am opposed to going back to stripes. Striped shirts are so run of the mill.
  23. Why is everyone so certain Cork won't play? Poch said he is doubtful however he was in training yesterday so a chance he maybe fit. Also Morgan has "Slight problem" so he may be ok to play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Poch didnt rule him out, plus he did train today with team so hopefully he will be fit.
  25. Is it just media making up usual crap or have other clubs got wind of something happening at St Marys? We are use to countless rumours about our best players, especially during the transfer windows but to see so many stories outside the window makes me wonder if the club need to balance the books or something during the summer. Lets hope it is just media rubbish
