Imo clyne much better RB than chambers. Don't get me wrong chambers is a talent but it was always going to come to a head. Both are too good to play second fiddle. Although can't see chambers playing anymore at arsenal. for me clyne's pace makes him my preferred choice. In isolation 12-16m for chambers is great business but it's the message this sends out that is the concern. Thank you mods. If we are after another 4-5 new players then Koeman will surely want most of them on board for at least 2 of the remaining friendly games to work on team shape and roles. So after Bournemouth game on Friday we have 2 planned games left before Liverpool game. So by this time next week I fully expect at least 3 players in. Exactly. Saints would have sounded Forster out about a move, most likely via Watson. The fact we have made a bid means Forster is definitely interested. Fonte and Lovren were our strongest pairing last season yet both had a mistake in them especially Fonte. I would actually say they are both a bit clumsy and liable to give a penalty away. Dont underestimate the influence Pochettino and Cortese still have at the club in terms of playing staff. I am convinced Poch has upset the apple cart ever since he decided to abandon ship (march). I am of the opinion that the current board are out of their depth but in fairness to them Poch and Cortese have really fooked them over big time. It is unprecedented for a club to sell 3 key players to same club within a matter of weeks of each other. No doubt club are taking too long in finding new players. At the end of the day the club knew there was strong possibility of losing 4-5 key players therefore they should have had a contingency plan to replace them asap in order to give Koeman best chance of gelling a competitive team together.

I fully agree with your post. JWP to date only threatens from set pieces. He has little impact during open play. Harrison Reed is the one that people within the footballing fraternity rave about and have high hopes for. Hopefully he will be given similar game time to what JWP had last season. To play both we would be very lightweight in the midfield even with big Vic in there.

He is an impact player off the bench. His all round game isnt good enough to make a telling contribution thats lasts for 90 mins. The Michael Owen type players are a dying breed as teams demand more from their players these days.

If it was ******** then why has lallana not responded to story then? Regardless if he is bound by NDA that story is potentially libellous so he should be in his rights to defend himself. If it was a false story he should threaten Crook or paper with legal action or at least demand them to retract the story.
