Although nowhere near as bad as yesterday but we have struggled to break teams down at SMS since being back in PL. We have lacked creative player with pace for a long time. It is even more evident now because we have new players still trying to adapt. Koeman was well prepared for that performance. He knows we are better suited playing away until we get a winger in. Not liking the long ball crap to a player that right now resembles more like a donkey than a professional footballer. The sooner we get Jrod back the better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is their European HQ actually which includes sales and marketing not just warehouse and contributes about half of the company revenue. -

Garmin are a bigger brand than TomTom globally and they are now neck and neck in terms of market share in the UK. -
Anyone have insight on this fella? Never heard of him so I won't make a judgement.

To go from £7m offer on the friday to £12.5 on the Tuesday smacks of desperation. It was obvious we needed more firepower upfront but with such little time left to start of season it would have been huge gamble to get striker in from abroad and hope they wouldmake an instant impact. club have got themselves in this situation given lambert left weeks ago and they knew jrod would be out until october at the earliest since march yet they seemed content with having no proven PL striker until now. Long is a bit underwhelming but there isnt another proven/experienced PL striker that we could realistically sign that would be better imo.
-
Long would be decent signing imo but I don't believe for one second we would pay £12m outright for him. Recall sky saying lambert deal was worth £9m which was bull**** so would take £12m story with a pinch of salt. More likely 8-10m is my expectation.

Fraser Forster Joins on 4 Year Deal - Official
jasoneuelllfanclub replied to Wrensup's topic in The Saints
Koeman says it how it is, that's his style. He done right by boruc telling him FF will be #1 rather than give him false hope about fighting for place. Boruc has a dodgy back and prone to a ricket so he can hardly be surprised we have got a new GK. -
This will all depend on whether or not Lens buys in to the clubs vision

Going to man utd it seems. We don't need LB now. LVG can't be too impressed with fatty Luke.
-
What's "Not him" in reference to? KBS should perhaps explain what he means as it seems people making up their own assertions.
-
So did a player have a medical today yes or no?
-
My guess would be Taider today. Maybe the Italian winger next couple of days. Forster and possibly Van Djik announced Friday and paraded before game Saturday. Rest will follow nearer deadline day. Striker or two an absolute must. Imagine if Pelle got injured.
-
I am clinging on to the hope that there is very little concrete transfer news which means something could be imminent. In reality we are more likely to be hitting a brick wall in terms of agreeing fees for players as there is no desire from club to spend much of the £90m+ from sales. Be interested to see how many turn up on Saturday should we get no one in or just these two underwhelming loans in from Inter. My guess 7-8,000.

Complete bulls up by Les Reed and co. Now they find themselves in a situation where they are being quoted inflated prices because of there recently found wealth yet aren't prepared to pay it. What imbeciles don't line up deals before selling? ******** to all this nonsense about deals take time and need for patience from the mugs that actually believe anything wreck-it-Ralph says. Most other clubs seem to get deals over the line in good time. Until we spend decent money on a player I am firmly in the "board are complete jokers" corner.
-
No one can deny this board are stupidly slow signing players. Cortese wasn't overly fast at sealing deal's but these guys are amateurish at best.
-
We are alarmingly light upfront, imagine if Pelle was to get injured? Our current CB pairing would probably suffice against bottom 4-5 teams but will get roasted against any half decent striker(s)
-
I think this will be a defining season for him. He had a fair amount of game time last season albeit not in his natural position and never really made an impact in open play. If he gets the opportunity to play CM then he has the attributes to push on and become a real star. The key will be whether he can influence games enough from open play. If he does then piece that together with his set piece delivery we have a great player on our hands.
-
Obviously nothing imminent is what I meant. Hardly encouraging is it?
-
He isnt leaving any time soon. Just been modelling the new SP Lisbon kit.
-
I really dont think we are close to any signing. Like S-Clarke says if a deal was close media will have got wind of it. In this day and age impossible to keep deal out of the media. I seem to recall Steve De Ridder was the last out of the blue signing. Before anyone pipes up about Lovren, French media reported it before club announced.

Player Budget - That's About It...

I could well believe this. No doubt Lallana, Morgan, Lambert, Shaw and co had nice performance bonuses tied in to their new contracts. -
So crab lungs version of events is very much different to Guan's. Who to believe?

Haha you are obviously one of those fans in denial, who has there head well and truly buried in the sand. Get real.
