Some good points but I have to disagree on point about Gabbiadini. he was starved of decent service when he came back from injury. Prior to his injury team was playing well and looked dynamic but for some reason puel put the brakes on the fluidity of our attacks once he got injured and subsequent return. I agree PEH was poor. Gives the ball away a lot. Boufal has talent but our rigid set up and negative tactics essentially had him in a straight jacket. He needs to be main creative outlet in central position not stuck out wide and being asked to track back. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

They do alot of head tennis it seems. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Spot on. Sms not exactly known for its vibrant atmosphere at the best if times but when their is very little football to get on the edge of you're seat for it just saps the fans energy. Same impact on players as well. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

You don't honestly mean that. He is an awful manager. Yes his style is dull but even worse are his tactics. No plan B whatsoever. There is no way he can take us further. We will be down in relegation fight next season with him at the helm. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

I agree. I'm not convinced we would ever spend more than we receive. Club is ambitious though apparently lol Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

You do realise that the more matches that are on TV you more TV income you earn beyond the minimum requirement each team gets chosen? So sky and BT more likely to cherry pick teams that play entertaining football where possible. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Redmond is a decent player but terribly inconsistent and a total gob ****e. Constantly moaning at teammates. Now that is unproductive. Booed off the pitch (team) but looked happy as Larry laughing with Butland at FT. Needs to sort his attitude out. You won't find many agreeing with you about Puel being a good manager. No plan B and his substitutions are a joke. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Get a grip. Since when does booing an inept manager become new to saints fans or even football fans in general? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Someone who has been right before on the not606 forum says Bertrand will leave and Targett has signed a new 5 year contract. If true it wouldn't surprise me if we went with him and mcqueen as left backs next season. Be a disaster. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

He's got to go. His tactics and substitutions are horrendous. Crying out for more players in the box so takes Austin off. Brilliant logic. Doesn't change anything during game. Players must have had nap at HT as the second half started even worse. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Caceres, Jrod, Claise, boufal, Bertrand, pied or hoijberg then. My guess jrod. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Rubbish. I haven't spoken to one saints fan who wants him to stay. I work with 300 other people of whom there are many saints fans. Not come across one person that thinks he should stay. Fact is the majority are bored and want a change. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Hull conceded most goals from set pieces in PL. Silva has them using zonal marking which is not very reassuring. Zonal marking rarely works imo. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Diamond formation - still slow and pedestrian like attacks but did create more chances. 4-3-3 - slow, dull and lacked creativity. 4-2-3-1 - our most naturally suited system. Worked well during brief spell starting at Sunderland away. Went to pot once Gabbiadini got injured. Although having said that we played well on the whole at home to Palace without Gabbiadini. Long should have had 4-5 goals alone in that game. Now I think players have downed tools. Lost faith and confidence in Puel. So they will just go through the motions until season finishes and then wait for Puel to get the boot. Home form has been woeful regardless of system. Puel tactics are understood when it's about parking the bus but when onus on us to attack his tactics and in game management are atrocious. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

We don't have any leadership on or off pitch to change games. What's Puels plan B? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Reed will have to go for Puel to go imo. Puel is clearly Reed's puppet. I just hope we get new investors who insist on new management team. Puel and reed are draining all ethusiasim and feel good factor from club. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

He's not a patch on Bertrand. Mcqueen offers more pace and far better crossing. I will never forget the atrocious crossing in that game in Denmark. Hit first defender every bloody time. He is championship standard for me. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official
jasoneuelllfanclub replied to Sergei Gotsmanov's topic in The Saints
we will almost certainly off load rodriguez and possibly one of long or austin so i can see Sam being 3rd/4th choice next season assuming we will sign another striker. he has the advantage of being more of a target man than the other strikers we have so he may get some game time next season. I think he has good potential, remember his goal v yeovil in cup. His career has somewhat stalled since then but obviously hes had some personal stuff go on since then. -
According to graeme bailey vvd has chosen Chelsea. Saints won't stand in his way as they will get valuation. Is this early doors business being done before takeover to cash in assets or to give puel his summer transfer kitty I wonder? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

If we sell anymore players to Liverpool this summer we might as well sell our dignity to them. Be an absolute embarrassment. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

This must be dependent on investment / takeover or sale of vvd surely? Don't see club having the funds required to sort out the pig ears they have made of transfers this season. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Over the course of the season but you knew that's what I meant. Even yesterday he was a bag of nerves Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

I noticed he was gripping onto the net yesterday grimacing. Also at WBA there was a close up of him grimacing. Why don't they give hassan a go if that's the case? Can't do any worse surely. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk

Gardos, Martina, Taylor, reed, isgrove, Rodriguez, claise, long will all be surplus to requirements imo. In addition to the ones we want to keep but ultimately sell that's a significant exodus. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Tapatalk
