I havnt bothered to look if it is correcr, but a mate said same people who moaned about players saying thing about thinking about leaving or wanting to leave due to club changing their ambition, are now defedning the board despite them lying to us. Obviously honesty isn't something people value anymore, at least the players give us an honest indication of the reality at the club in the last few months. I don't care if your disgusted with my quotes. It is my opinion and have no ties to him. Yes put as bluntly as that I couldn't but also don't need to defend his quotes. It was stupid but if we were the buying club we would think it was brilliant. I just think about all the quotes players and managers have said down the years at various clubs and don't take anything they say at face value good or bad. In my opinion he still played with full commitment till the end for us and what he has done for us on the pitch is the most important thing. Im guessing he is as ****ed with how this has ended as we all are as he tried and seemed to fail in the eyes of saints fans with the echo. Hopfully we can have another great season and forget about the players that have left and concentrate on those left and coming into the club. The bit that makes me.laugh the most is how fans worshiping his performances and ability can start questioning it just because they didn't like what he said or how he has behaved off the pitch? So glad at least some fans are smart enough to remember what he has done for the club and where he has moved to and for what reasons! Everyone here would have done the same in his situation and you'd be lying if you said otherwise. Only time will tell if it was the correct decision but a chance that probably woudnt have come around again. From.what I've heared he has had chances to jump ship when in league one and champ (including to.prem teams). He may not have left in the best light, but we all make mistakes, especially when put into a public setting and unfortunately the way liverpool and saints have gone about in conducting their business has not helped the way he has been portrayed to us Saints fans. I hope he has a successful time there, apart from against Saints. Would be great to win there in August, but woulkfd hate to see adz get anything more than a bit.of.light hearted banter from Saints fans. And the Saints go marching on on on........ If this is true then makes MP decision to leave strange! Maybe this is a grwat thing but think it may be to littl.to late to tempt certain players staying...I think the damage has been done with poor communication with players leaving them uncertain about the clubs future and looking elsewhere for security and higher standard of football they want to play. If its true that the players all had a good working relationship and mutual respect for him then I think that a lot of what people say about him being a not a nice person is wrong. Yes he was a ruthless and very good business man.but that doesn't make him a bad person. I've worked with some people who I can't stand at work but they are good at their job and I get on with them outside of working environment. Most succesful people are going to upset people on the way as they try and do the best for themselves and their employer. I bet even some saints players who are idolised by most fans have upset a few in some way or another from their actions on or of the pitch, directly or indirectly.....? Winning while being second best for 60 minutes is a sign of a solid/good team. Clyne was quality today but I think he would have to be a close second to Boruc for MOM.

Lets not take everything which is said on Soccer Saturday to seriously shall we? Its all for show on that program and good fun to watch, irrespective of your views on what they say. On a serious note, this write up seems an honest thought out opinion, which gives us something else to be proud of at the moment (shame our support cant be a little bit louder with some new songs for players who deserve it).
