Long put one on a plate for Bertrand second game running from winning a header, no one else competes in the air.
-
That’s what it felt/feels like
-
that’s what it felt like!
-
Yes really... his second was criminal. Just knew we would concede! McCarthy made some gods saves but yet again has to be questioned for their winner!
-
Can someone tell me, along with others, how does JWP keep getting game time? Slow, **** in and out of possession and even his set pieces are rarely dangerous. We are in serious trouble, but I cannot decide yet if it’s Ralph, the players or what I think is a bit of both. Either way the people running this club need to sort out or **** off!
-
Decision making, ideas in the final third and ability to always play the ball behind teammates when on the attack just don’t help.
-
Absolute garbage. How no one at the club can see that we have not got CB’s that are good enough for this league is a ajokeZ Ralph has to take responsibility also for not playing Cedric and Bertrand in their natural positions for the start.
-
I’m not sure how any saints fan who slams Jack Stephens but can be happy with this current crop of **** at the back
-
Absolute **** all over the park. Arguably the scape goat,Stephens, has been one of the best players. Best CM on the pitch is one we let go a few years ago as we had 2 better players at the time - how things have changed.
-
Any iPhone friendly streams for today’s game?
-
How is PEH still on the pitch? It’s like the space jam monsters have stolen his ability to pass again.
-
Odd how Yoshida’s marking of Lukaku goes unnoticed. If that was Stephens he’d be getting pellters from everyone on here.
-
It’s been embarrassing that most months goal of the month or Sure’s moment of the month have included at least one or two from youth teams, sums it all up really.
-
Are the Yoshida sisters in the Japanese curling team any relation of the great Maya?

The way some of you talk about AL nearly 4 years after he left us just shows how much he meant to us and therefore it hurt the most. No one really knows the truth that went on in the summer of 2014 - what is obvious is the club lied to players and fans alike and didn’t back the manger and look to push on. The goal posts changed over night and the vision for the club was not what was possibly sold to the players who recently signed new deals. I love football banter as much as anyone and love seeing AL and others **** themselves at SM’s and long may it continue. BUT the abuse I’ve heard towards him regarding family members is utter disgraceful and has no place in any walk of life. So I hope the banter can continue but keep the low life abuse away - hopefully one day we can get over his move and celebrate one of the clubs most important and influential players in the last 10+ years (probably a lot longer). You can’t watch highlights on the clubs twitter or Facebook feeds without a goal scored or created by AL. Yet we give hero welcomes to players like Theo who jumped ship at the first time of asking after less than a season of loyalty. I used to love clapping Shearer on to the pitch at The Dell for warm Ups, booing him for 90mins and clapping him off! Helmet on for the abuse I will get for this post but had to be said. We are quick to hail players hero’s and legends for just a couple of above average appearances recently but can’t treat club legends with the respect they deserve (despite a poor departure).

Hoddle please! But anyone who will play attacking football! Think I would even be happy to give Giggs a go!
-
Thought it after cup final and again today.... it only does Boufal not show his value, he also slows our play and completely took away our style and momentum! Hope he has a strop and requests a move in the summer, unless he can start showing consistency as an effective team player! Defence and midfield have to be tighter, but think we deserved something today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Totally agree, amazing how there isn't a clear points scheme in place at the beginning of the season so everyone is aware of what they may need to do to get tickets for all important games. This may also encourage people to go to more games. Also the membership scheme is an absolute joke and purely a money making thing. I got mine at the beginning of the season thinking it would help in such occasions as I was not confident of being able to get to a huge amount of games however, you can still buy one today to support your chances of tickets! I have been to 5 home and a couple away including Arsenal in the cup, but it doesn't look like many will be left for that final round of criteria. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also that video of Boufal after the Swansea game sums up what the club think of our fan base. Do they really think we will buy that as a positive in he middle of our current league form? Yes he may be skilful but unless that relates to goals then it is pointless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well said. What I want to know from those defending the club, is how far do we have to go backwards before the previous good work of the last 7 years becomes irrelevant. In my opinion the success and journey of the last 7 years has run out this season, we have sold too many players this time around without replacing them and we have gone from a team that plays attractive, entertaining football to one that's plays drab and boring football. Yes Puel may have been unlucky in terms of our ability to convert chances, however he is he coach a needed to address this on the training field or in the transfer market. Now that our defence has been considerably weakened it has put more pressure on and highlighted our inadequacies in front of goal. Gab may help with this but is a gamble when looking at his scoring record, and he will have to score 2/3 a game just to get a result! To me it would be better if everyone including Reed was honest and didn't constantly feed us clear BS or always trying to make the want away players look like the bad guys! Just part amicably. If your not able or prepared to match their ambitions or financial demands, just accept this and get the best deal for the club and go your separate ways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sky Sports Sunday Suplement 'Saints would sell Pelle if they could'
Bensfcno1 replied to Bensfcno1's topic in The Saints
It wasnt said in jest or if it was then the Journo in question needs to work on his expressions. It was more like, although it would take extraordinary bids for us to let Mane go, Wanyama is more likely but we would sell Pelle if we could. I am hoping it was just the Journo has poor banter. -
As it says on the tin. One of the Journalists on Sunday Suplement suggested we would sell Pelle given the opportunity. What is everyones views on this and where has this come from or is it just way of the mark and looking for talking points? Would be strange considering he was only player to play in every prem game last season.

Massively agree. Like when we played QPR with HR in charge....all we were bothered about was him and not supporting the team. All it did was spur their players on to one of their best peformances of an awful season.
-
Depending on the relationship with the other club, perhaps it would be a possible gentleman agreement as part of the the negotiatiins. Although, I'm sure such agreements are very unlikely in the world off football in the last 10 years. Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk

I remember us selling a player during a season, and it wasan agreement that he would not play against us that season. Can't remember the player involved but want to say Dean Richards to Spurs? Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk
