Typical overreaction on here, in fact mass hysteria at times. Poor performance away to a side notoriously stubborn. Need to just move on and i would start with ditching 3 centre backs if we're conceding goals that easy. Get Danso or Bednarek in beside Yoshida
-
Been mentioned as a loan with an exclusive option to buy, though not sure how that can be upheld should another club come in next summer. Strange one, though not as strange as Mooy signing a new 3 year contract with Huddersfield and then being immediately loaned to Brighton as he wants to play PL football. Bizarre

Just waiting on the media team editing their Ralph express clip
-
Making a great run at winning the net spend trophy again. Les would be so proud of wee Ross
-
Another depressing deadline day looms. If RH is still at the club this time next year id be very surprised. He cant be too happy with this window
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49250674 Separately, we dont get any mention in BBCs focus on the six clubs likely to be in relegation mix
-
With Boufals father passing away we can rule him out of being involved in the squad. Go with the 3-5-2 Gunn Valery Bednarek Yoshida Vestergaard Bertrand Romeu Hojbjerg JWP Redmond Adams McCarthy Stephens Cedric Armstrong Djenepo Ings Obafemi
-
Get him in. Just what we need as Romeu has struggled the past two seasons imo. Also believe Hoj is better in a more advanced role

https://www.caughtoffside.com/2019/07/26/liverpool-join-premier-league-side-in-race-to-seal-transfer-of-13-4m-south-american-star/ In the mix for right back Santiago Arias from Atletico Madrid apparently. Though a number of big clubs including Liverpool interested

Agree that RH can certainly improve our CBs fitness, positional sense, workrate etc, however its very difficult to change their decision making on the pitch. Thats what has been Hoedt and Stephens biggest downfall and has cost us goals. Hopefully we can bring a new CB in and move one or both of them on. RH is an excellent coach but lets not start convincing ourselves that hes a miracle worker
-
Doubt it, been there a few days and no mention of a game. If anything there may be one behind closed doors
-
Pongracic was a youth player at Ingolstadt when Ralph was manager so would know all about him
-
Ralph could have the influence and its not like players havent left a champions league club to join mid table PL clubs before. Better to dream and either player signing is more likely than old timer Cahill who still gets a mention on here
-
Starting to believe we have a clear CB target in mind but we're possibly waiting on the host club finding a replacement. Think Ralph wants a leader and someone he possibly knows/trusts. Either of the two Leipzig players Orban or Upamecano may be the ones we're pursuing
-
If a player of his age/quality is available at 15m then go get him, regardless of who we've already signed. Has the potential to be another Maddison or Brooks who can easily make the step up to the PL
-
Hoping they arrange a game against a local side. Bit odd to come for a weeks training and not play anybody (hardly a glamorous warm weather camp either). Perhaps because the LOI season is ongoing theyre establishing who is best placed to play them with only a few days rest

Watching the man city series on amazon and reminded me of the last game where city beat us to get 100 points. Defended really well all game and then one simple lapse of concentration by Stephens let Jesus in to score. That sums him up for me, looks decent on the ball but switches off too easily or makes a silly mistake and gets punished. Hes championship quality and if we sold him to villa i wouldnt be surprised if he struggled to hold down a starting spot
-
Lol no chance. Horrible footballer despite having a decent left peg
-
The miserable last few seasons working to our advantage as nobody seems to want our better players. We also seem to be making good progress at shifting those deemed surplus to requirements. On the other hand, some of the teams around us like Newcastle, Bournemouth and Palace are struggling to hang onto their better players. A few more good signings and hopefully we can push above these clubs next season
-
3 goals and 2 assists in 16 starts in his first PL season would suggest Armstrongs done well and is certainly a PL player. Yes maybe not a starter but a good squad player. Slattery needs to develop and should hopefully get more minutes. Agree with your thoughts on Romeu. He looks slower by the game and we could do with a more dynamic DM
-
Sebastian Rode being linked. €5m although he has had his injury problems in recent years. Played at Bayern under Pep, Dortmund and on loan to Frankfurt last season. DM but also versatile and can play at RB. Would be an astute signing IF he can stay fit
-
Mooy is soon to be 29. Good player but not the age bracket that RH appears to be interested in
-
Good luck to Matt. Liked him as a player but just didnt make the position his own when he broke through. Interesting that RH sees alot of potential in Vokins. Hope he gets some gametime as Bertys understudy and can push on to be our future LB for many years
-
You mean the Chelsea youngsters and Harry Wilson who he was able to bring in through his contacts. Wont be able to do that at Chelsea
