I think its a case of making a move quickly, the clubs make these players available for loan and the players wouldnt be holding out for a championship team if they can get a move to a top L1 club, all they want is regular competitive football....or so you would think, theres plenty of players happy not playing reguarly and getting paid.

Quite a few good loanees picked up today, we have plenty of LB cover so no need for george mccartney who went to leeds but jake livermore and chris wood who went to ipswich and barnsley respectively could have been great acquisitions, especially wood as that cover for lambert

Pardew didnt have any pre season last year considering he came in just before and did not take charge of the Millwall game, so really this will be his first.
