Personally loved the fact that 7 players in the squad yesterday were academy (counting Stephens). As Ralph said previously, the young players are more receptive of his methods. Should they continue to play a part this season and we stay up, it'll be a great experience and development for them. Even if there are mass changes/signings in the summer i have faith that Ralph will still persist with trusting the academy.

Id say 10-11 points will be sufficient enough

If we were able to get Adams and Maehle this window, as well as shipping out Austin, that would be decent business. If Augustin continues to have limited game time at RB then the summer will bring a lower transfer fee so might be better to wait.

Yes we had great success with the likes of Wanyama and Schneiderlin, but that was a number of years ago. Both have regressed since imo and there are certainly better options out there. Romeu and Hojbjerg doing very well anyways so would rather we waited until the summer. An attacking player would be the priority this window, CB second

After another very good performance its worth digging this out. Hopefully people will realise that alot of players take time to adapt to a new league and Jannik is starting to find his feet. Ralph has helped too no doubt

Dont understand why Leeds would go for Forster. Theyve two good young keepers. Yes Forster would bring experience, but that come with inflated wages and the possibility that hes still not mentally right.

Some on here cant see past our former players. Those days are gone. Be surprised if we dont see a player from the bundesliga (Poulsen maybe) considering how well Ralph knows the league

Defensively very good and his workrate is exceptional. Takes alot to play wing or full back in RH teams. Yes going forward could be better but that will come with confidence. Reminds me a little of Calum Chambers when he first came in

What a point! Despite Ralphs influence I did not expect that Burnley's win more an indication of how poor Huddersfield are. Cant see them staying up now and still think Cardiff will drop back in. Who will fill the last place? Palace on a run and Burnley getting results, could it be Fulham or Newcastle? January will be an interesting window

After Ralph's first four proper games (not wanting to count Cardiff as he had 2 days with players) we have the amount of points (6) we could have realistically hoped for. Didnt expect anything from City or Arsenal but thought we could beat Huddersfield and WHU. It's worked out slightly differently. Chelsea will be difficult to get anything from but its the run of games after which will matter. Still think we will comfortably stay up. The more time Ralph has to implement his ideas and bring in players to suit his system, then the better we will become. A bit of patience and perspective needed.
