.....including them.

Plenty of margin for error then, that's reassuring.

Somebody had to step up to the plate when alpine disappeared.

Looks like it's time for the "relegation price 2019" thread.

The "didn't know you could be relegated" story is probably recycled from the venkys at blackburn. It was doing the rounds way back then. -
Stephens is looking more like an accident in waiting than vestergard lately.

Impressive analysis lads, do you have any tips for the 3:30 at Kempton?
-
Yes, they've got a lot of their really tough fixtures out of the way already.
-
Quite. It was a tragic incident, and of course people feel for Sala and Ibbotson, but the "Forever a Bluebird" banners are risible in the extreme. As for the pair of tw*ts making plane gestures, you aren't going to get a group of 30000 fans together without a few knobs in it, it's not as if they physically attacked anyone. I've seen the twitter threads, christ on a bike, talk about overreacting, wait til they see frankie boyle's take on it.

I hate professional fouls, but that's one I don't think he had much option with.
-
That's interesting, because I've spoken at length with at least 20 leave voters, and not one of them have suggested they would alter the way they voted. If anything the ongoing debate since the referendum has hardened their positions.
-
....in fact, subbed off now.
-
Anyone else watching the everton/citeh game? Walcott looking really poor tonight.
-
It's been blindingly obvious since he started using the name, also there's the minor fact that glasgow fessed up to it on the Burnley thread and asked the mods to lock his cabbage account.
-
Yes, I noticed him popping up in dangerous areas and calmly winning the ball. Thought he had a decent game myself, and didn't look out of place considering it was his full debut.
-
Crouch. Oh, great.
-
4:16 and 4:17. Glasgow, you're slipping.
-
Looking good now, terrific goal from redmond.

I'm amazed to see Gabbi and Cedric leave without replacements, tbh. Alright, we're in a hugely better place performance wise since RH arrived, but we're still flirting with relegation and hoping that none of the improvement is a temporary dose of New Manager Bounce Syndrome, it's one thing not strengthening in January (it's a bit of a nightmare for any club and usually smacks of panic,) but to actually weaken the squad?? Can't get my head round that one. Quite bizarre.

I don’t think he's referring as much to English players as players who've come through the saints academy and therefore have that link to the club. Fwiw, I agree with him; I take far more of an interest in that type of player after he leaves than I do of players that joined us as a senior player and then moved on.
-
Plus this season the top clubs are swatting away everyone outside the top 6 more readily than usual. So there's fewer points available to the relegation pack. 38 ought to be comfortably enough to stay up.
-
....will also be interesting to see what team Ralph puts out against the arse. Guessing he'll do like citeh and save the squad for Fulham?
-
2 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat imho. I don’t see us getting anything at arsenal, and while we ought to do well against the others they're all scrapping for survival, (at the moment, so are we.) 3 wins out of those would be a major achievement.

Agree that Johnson had an excellent game and put a few really good crosses in, but I thought taking him off was the right decision. He looked nailed on for a second yellow to me, you could tell he was snapping at everything in his enthusiasm but looks a very, very good prospect. I thought Ramsay looked promising too as he grew into the game.
