  1. Now, that really is "hyperthetical".
  2. There was also a story making us favourites to sign Allen if we stay up.
  3. © D. Cameron, 22nd June 2016.
  4. .....which is why it will doubtless be roundly condemned on here by both sides.
  5. ....compared to the scintillating stuff we've been treated to over the last two seasons?
  6. I'm assuming she doesn't visit this site..... Oh, and cup win please.

  10. I watched most of it and believe me, that game could just as easily have gone the other way. Grim conditions and both teams going for it, a very iffy sending off (which given the conditions I can't understand at all, and had a massive impact on the game...) on balance Stoke were hard done by not to come away from that with a point at least. About time the fates did us a few favours.
  11. Do you mean that the blonde "niece" is your beard? There's no shame in it mate, it's legal nowadays
  12. "I've found the problem Kelvin. Redmond and Bertrand have Parkinsons."

  19. Nicely played sir
  20. The telegraph piece suggests otherwise; "The former Stoke City boss has been offered a contract until the end of the season, before any long-term decisions are made on a permanent replacement for Mauricio Pellegrino." From Hughes' point of view keeping us up would obviously give him a big advantage regarding our appointment of a long term manager, but if he was already the guy we wanted surely the plug would have been pulled on pellegrino long before it actually was? They could have had someone else in mind who isn't available yet, and may still be available should we stay up.
  21. Apparently that isn't possible.
  22. Quite. As things stand, to me he's the obvious appointment. The job is surely to keep us up and then go on his merry way, Pearson style? The board must have already had a proper target in mind for the end of the season, who will be appointed as long as we're still in the prem? Hughes knows the league inside out, knows the players games, strengths and weaknesses......best option for a short term fix, imho.
  23. His epitaph...... "He made Branfoot look good."
  24. You could equally ask how appalling he must have been to get sacked after four games.
