  1. Lies! That's just LIES
  2. Horrendous plug...... http://www.mickchannon.tv/extra.php
  3. The season had a horrible inevitability about it. So much so that I took the 5/2 in Stan James the day the Dutch Experiment was unveiled. We stayed up by the skin of our teeth last seasons with players who had ability. We sacked the manager that kept us up for "Financial Reasons", then told the world our youth team would be playing in the 2008/09 season. Yes, this might appear to be an "I told you so" post, but I'm not particularly intelligent. It was inevitable. Bugger

  5. Who the ****in hell are Woolworths Who the ****in hell are Woolworths Who the ****in hell are Woolworths The Saints go Marching on on on!
  6. These would be "ramblings" that make total sense to me. Not to mention the fact that anyone worth their salt (Date of birth permitting) knows exactly what Pearson the player represented: Strength, leadership & organisation. Anyone with a database of football following intellect would recall this. It's called knowledge - NOT the ability to google and snipe in front of a computer. I think he's more than shown the qualities he had as a player in his managerial achievements over the past 14th months alone. He saved a desperate Saints side last year and won promotion as Champions this year. Bickering aside, what else was he supposed to accomplish? Obviously the only thing he did was achieve the remits demanded upon him. RUBBISH.
  7. 1979 and Saints beat City 3-0 (I think). I was only 5, a City fan and Joe Corrigan was my hero. That's changed now though. Bugger!
  8. It's been a tough season for all of us mate, but you seem to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder on this issue. I commend you for caring so passionately about charity, the bar takings at a non-league football club and football forum democracy. Rage against the machine and all that, but is it really worth getting so militant about a day that essentially involves a £5 note, half a lager and a few overweight blokes playing football in close proximity to a bouncy castle?
  9. Power to the people etc. etc - Give Yoko a call..........
  10. Get a grip. Hughesy is a good guy, and all the old boys are getting together and it might even be a laugh. Protest as much as you like if someone forces you to go, but shut up otherwise. This sort of post has ruined this forum.
  11. ......... then he shouldn't give his opinion when someone asks him a question?
  12. I would approach Lucy Pinder myself, but I'm not allowed within 200 yards of her for a further 14 months. It's an outrage - The legal system just won't accept the gravity of Saints' plight.
