Excellent result - tricky game and all the points.

If we play like we did in the first half against Leicester and Bournemouth - away win - if we play like we did in the second halves of those games - deep doodoo. Which Saints team will turn out against Sunderland?

Poor second half by saints - defending far too deep and midfield overrun. Two very good goals.

I always liked Surman when he was with us -didn't he do OK at Norwich after he left (sold by Lowe as I recall).

Lallana behaved badly - threatening to go on strike etc - and he showed that his loyalty was really non-existent despite all the ostentatious badge-kissing we had to put up with.

Could be closer than many seem to think.

I like Ramirez and think we should bring him on more often.

Fonte was at fault for their goal. Davis was anonymous throughout - not really good enough at this level. We deserved at least a draw. mariner is a pretty dreadful referee and let all their blatant pushed go unpunished.

We need to see more from Steve Davis and from tadic.

Surprised to see Clasie starting given his performance against Leicester.

Bring him in and bring him on - let's give some of the youngsters a chance if they're good enough.

I am concerned about a pressing game against us when we like to pass the ball backwards as often as we do. I hope Yoshida isn't playing.

We have made some very expensive mistakes.

Clasie was disappointing last week. I would really like to see Reed get more chances.

So where is Cortese and what is he doing?

I care about women's football and I am in favour of it.

Today JayRod looked in great need of game time - and more fitness. He was blowing like a steam train.

PPPS Clasie did not look classy. Far too slow.

PPS JayRod looks awful - he should go out on loan and get some serious game time. Dreadful.

PS - Kelvin is not good enough as a back-up keeper - his kicks and distribution were woeful

What an ugly second half. Crap referee - crap second half from Saints - several players were shown up for being slow and second to the ball. We should have won and we nearly lost.

What news on Clasie?
