Financial reality

The editing and commentary on MOTD were up to their usual standard - ie awful. If you watched the actual match, especially the second half, you would have seen Saints were the better side - but that is not what you saw on the ridiculous 'highlights' on MOTD and the commentator said Saints had 'stolen a point' when in fact it was United who were lucky to get a point! The comments especially by Shearer were much fairer but did not reflect what we had just seen.

They are currently a mid-table outfit. They should look at the match statistics. We were all over them in the second half AND their goal was offside.

J Rod was disappointing

J Rod needs to make more of an impact - too light weight and not running at them enough. Osvaldo needs to do a bit more too.

He talks complete nonsense - typical Tory - never lets any facts get in the way of spurious opinions.

I am a big admirer of Jack Cork and hope we keep him and use him sensibly. I would like to see him in the squad for Saturday and brought on.

Once he hits 25 goals for the season before Easter he should be OK.

Gaston is a highly skilled player with enormous potential. I just hope he gets a proper chance.
