Calum is excellent and getting better all the time.

why does Osvaldo not turn up for 90% of most games?

I hope you're right but I am not at all sure you are alas. -
We were great for most of the Man City game and Chambers and Cork did very well - I am happy for them to stay in.
-
A draw looks like a good result - but I think we can take all three points (but I thought we could do that at Chelski).
-
It's all a bit bleak - a point tomorrow would be a result - a win would be fantastic.

I agreed with Mopo - I like his attitude. -

The bubble has burst. We are really lacking in reserves - I thought Yoshida and Cork were very poor. We had 77 per cent possession but couldn't make it count. In the last 3 games we have let 8 goals in. -
We can't just include someone on the hope he might just get up to speed if given enough matches. We can't carry a player in this league. Osvaldo has not delivered - 1 goal in around 10 matches.

Disappointing - more bad luck with Boruc injury but we were outplayed second half. Osvaldo was very poor indeed. -
Oswaldo is not up to it.
-
I simply do not understand why people say things like this. Why on earth would you take this money - we would not get anyone better for £30 million and anyone we bought would be a big risk (eg Ramirez and Osvaldo) - so why take the money??
-
Osvaldo is simply not working out - 1 goal from 10 games is poor and he looks too slow. He's not happy and neither are we.
-
It's a shame but I can't see this working out so a parting of the ways seems sensible.
-
If Lovren, Lallana and Shaw are OK there is no reason we can't get a result - I am not at all sure about Osvaldo - he just seems too slow for the PL.
-
He is too slow for the PL - wants too much time. he is simply not delivering.
-
What a lot of nonsense.

I was there - madness from Boruc. I thought Wanyama was our best player and Clyne and Rodriguez were OK. We never managed to get the rhythm going which I suppose was down to them but some of our players looked off form. We really really missed Lovren. -
I thought Adam did OK - one of the better players on a poor night. JRod looked overawed and frightened - I think the call ahs come too soon for him. If he plays well for Saints and scores regularly then he will get another chance next year. Overall most of the England team looked pretty woeful.

Many of the comments on here are salutary. -
What a player! What a fantastic game he had against Hull - magnificent interceptions and passes. This is borne out by the analysis in this article: http://squawka.com/news/2013/11/11/this-passing-expert-was-the-real-catalyst-behind-southamptons-thrashing-of-hull/2013111134180 If James W-P carries on like this he will also be pressing for a place in the England senior team. He is awesome.

Carberry is in the 12 man squad for the final warm up game in Sydney. Hopefully the rain will stop and he will open the batting.

We were superb in the first half especially - Ward-Prowse and Clyne were outstanding, as were Morgan and Lambert but Lallana - intensity, pace, guile, brilliance - absolutely wonderful to watch. his goal was out of the world.
