The attacks on Adkins by some on here defy belief given what he did for our club.

I am a big Cork fan - things went pear-shaped when he came off yesterday. If he could learn to score 6 or 7 goals a season Jack Cork would be a first-rate midfielder.

We were beaten by a better side. Several of our players looked below par - eg, Morgan was poor, JRod was really off colour, and AL made a lot of mistakes. We seemed to want too much time that they didn't allow us. We need more pace.

We missed Morgan today - thank goodness he will be back on Wednesday. We can win this one.

I don't understand a lot of this -Shaw is an excellent left back - he rarely makes a serious defensive error (cf Danny Fox, Hooiveld, Fonte etc). I just hope we keep him for the next ten years or more - he is class.

We deserved at least a point - but we deserved more at Arsenal and at several home matches including Man City. However, it is goals that count and we are not putting enough chances away. We missed Morgan today and Wanyama and Boruc of course. Hopefully we will beat Chelsea on Wednesday.

Shame - I thought we did enough to get a point. We just couldn't make our possession count in terms of shots on target.

Are we all watching the same game?! We are doing OK - we have had more possession and have created some chances - we just need to hit the target! I am watching online but listening to Five Live where they are quite impressed with Saints. If we carry on like this we should get some sort of result.
