If we had Lukaku we could easily challenge for a top 4 position. He is a natural goal scorer.

Lallana is world class - at present no one else comes close but they might in a year or two. I would put Shaw second as he has been immense.

He did not play his hand very well. He made far too many enemies. A lot of people on this forum talked a lot of boll*cks about him at the time and if they had any humility they would admit they got it wrong.

I actually expect us to win at City - but I also thought we would win at Spurs.

Excellent display - except for the number of missed chances. Lallana's goal is special. Lambert had a great game - he really ought to go to Brazil as England's secret weapon. JayRod did well but should have scored at least 5! We ought to be in the top 4 or 5 given the talent in our team.

MoPo is a very good coach but makes a lot of mistakes as manager. Sometimes his substitutions are very difficult to understand. Also, I do wonder about his motivational capabilities - what did he say to them at half-time today I wonder?

That was a terrible second half - we completely lost our way. Our squad is simply not strong enough yet. Lovren is not the player he was before his injury but Fonte makes mistakes every week too (eg Norwich). I was shocked at how poor Clyne looked. In midfield we gave the ball away far too often in the second half and even Cork went to pieces. We should not have lost to Spurs at SMS or today - and yet they took all six points. Terrible.

That's Saints for you! We gifted them two goals. Boruc's distribution was awful. Why Guly gets picked is beyond me. We scored 4 goals but still made heavy weather of it!

There really are a lot of all-knowing cynics on here! I find what Krueger had to say very refreshing and reassuring and I am highly optimistic about our future.
