This is a terrible decision. He has been superb for us and we have sold him for a pittance. He has been a crucial member of the team and now he has gone - this is bound to affect the rest of our squad. I don't know what our management are up to.
Losing Lambert is a major blow - he has been a giant for us in the last few seasons. Were being decimated by the big money clubs and no one seems to be doing anything to stop it.
I simply don't agree - Pochettino no doubt made his decision to leave many moons ago. he ahs played us to the maximum and now ahs a five-year contract worth £3 million a year. No loyalty, no honour, and no respect for Saints or the fans. Good riddance say I.
He used us and then cast us aside. I hope he fails miserably at Spurs. The rumour now is that he wants to take Lallana and Rodriguez with him. He is what I always thought - a bit of a ****.
Please not Poyet, Pardew, Hoddle, Matt, Redknapp!! No, no, no. We need someone who will really motivate the players and attract new ones - how about Frank der Boer?
The treatment of Adkins was appalling - and certainly lowered our reputation elsewhere. Ironically, Cortese then got the push and now Pochettino has shown us lack of respect. What goes around comes around. Football is a dirty old business these days.
I thought he would stay, at least for another year. He clearly has no loyalty to us whatsoever. What goes around tends to come around and I suspect he will live to regret his decision to betray us. I hope so. This may be all for the best -I just hope we get someone good who will make sure we play good football.
I think that losing Shaw is a real blow - I have really enjoyed watching him this season and I think he has a lot more to offer. He will turn into a top world-class player. I just wish he could do that with us.
Well this is a good start - 3 wins so far and looking convincing. Some good and effective bowling this season plus some more consistent batting. Vince looking good.
