I am worried - wins against Watford and WBA will be very welcome. That does mean managing to score some goals.

Lots of our team failed to impress today but James Ward-Prowse was particularly poor. His corners were awful and he often gave the ball away. Will he ever score from open play?

Never really looked like scoring - we don't have a top scorer and we do have too many substandard players.

Good points. Maybe we should follow Leicester's example of paying far less and getting players who turn out to be successful bargains - or bring through more of our own (e.g. where's Reed??).

I fear it is with our current squad and approach. I now expect one good period - maybe a whole half - and we need to put away a higher proportion of the chances we create. One half tends to be much worse - e.g. against Leicester and Bournemouth at home.

We need a win - it seems like an awfully long time ago we got to 20 points so it would be nice to advance to 27.

I'm surprised Seager isn't even on the bench. I suppose we have to score a few goals sooner or later - hopefully tonight.

Can we manage to score? Can we show some character? It doesn't look good but you never know.

The treatment of Reed is mystifying - why hasn't he been given a chance to carry on from last season? Could he do worse than some of the present midfield? Why are no youngsters being brought through - does Koeman have a strategy?

Poor again - did anyone expect us to suddenly improve today - we have been poor for many weeks. Several of the players do not seem interested and/or good enough. What has happened to our youth policy - try some changes - try Reed, Targett, Seager, etc. Koeman has no alternative ideas it seems to me.

We now have serious problems - lots of players are not good enough. I am doubtful that Koeman has any solutions - why not bring in reed or Seager and give them a try - can they be worse?
