Forster looks very good in all respects - thank goodness there was a positive to take from today's debacle.

It was dreadful and makes you wonder why you spend £730 on the season ticket.

Very, very, VERY poor by Hampshire today - the batting was woeful. We need a big shake up.

He is a very talented player and nearly scored from the free kick but generally he looked as poor as the rest of them today.

We could have played for a week and I doubt we would have scored. Clueless.

Well we were very poor today - we made more passes backwards than sideways and more passes sideways than forwards. our two best players were Forster (MoM) and Wanyama - the rest all looked pretty poor. There was no spark. Pelle looks one dimensional and Tadic was predictable and often lost the ball. Long did nothing to speak of. I think the crowds will fall even lower with this sort of offering.

We are bottom of the 50 overs league!

Well we really performed poorly again in the 50 overs - all out for 172 in 39 overs and soundly beaten by Yorkshire. I don't know what has been wrong with them in this competition - what a shame.

I have been unimpressed with Townsend when I have seen him - he is a cast off from Spurs - why do we want him??

I agree with this. Townsend might come good for but he seems quite erratic - and we have enough of those in the past.

Yes the next month or so promises to be exciting for Hampshire fans - I just hope we can deliver. I think Wood and Briggs may have big roles to play.

I do hate Sky and what it has done to the game.

I think it is important that we take all three points and get going.

This is now entirely in our own hands - just need to stay focused and consistent.
