I am very surprised that RK didn't use more than one sub - what would we have lost by bringing Seager on for Long, or Reed on for Davis, for instance?

I like Shane Long's attitude but he does not score enough goals.

Lack of quality up front. I am surprised that Koeman didn't bring on another substitute - I would have tried Seager.

I would take Pelle off and try something else. That may be a signal for him to score.

Come on Saints - we do not put away enough of our chances.

Great result - ill today so couldn't go and had to watch it online. A very good team performance - the only downside si that we should have scored more - 4 - 0 would have been fair.

Long is clearly talking about those in the media who have been eagerly awaiting our collapse - the 'told you so' brigade. Long works his socks off but it would be nice if he could improve on his goal-scoring record.

I thought Clyne was outstanding - excellent in defence and attack. Absolutely put Baines in the shade. Some first-rate crosses including the missed header by Pelle and the second goal.

A lot will depend on Koeman's ability to motivate them and lift them after five defeats. Personally I would not bother with Mane or Mayuka on the bench.

I simply cannot fathom out why Mayuka is there.
