Sorry?? He had a dreadful game - frequently out of position and allowing very ordinary oppositionplayers to get roudn him. The Sunday Times gave him 3 out of ten, much the lowest for anyone. I don't think he is currently worth his place at all.

he will always be useless in my book - his team selections with us cost us dear - 2-0 up against Villa etc - he is one of the few people in the world i genuinely detest and hold in contempt.

My theory is that he is being punished for refusing to be shipped out during the summer as this would have meant a pay cut. What i don't understand is the continuing view amongst some that he will be a saviour of some sort - i was generally mightily unimpressed when i saw him playing for us.
