As I have said before, the people who run cricket are almost as barking as those running football!
I hope we don't regret these lost points at the end of the season. We certainly scored a moral victory over Zummerzet (but then the Aussies did over England at Cardiff).
Well now bad light has stopped play - so the fates are against us but why would they come off for bad light when there is an outside chance of winning?
Any further news on Dimi?
Perhaps if we can get another couple of wickets by lunch we can go on to win.
But getting them out seems to be like winkling out shellfish on this wicket.
In my view we should be knocking in 3 or 4 goals against the sort of opposition we are playing - Swindon, Brentford, Stockport, etc.
We are like a misfiring engine at the moment, splutter,s plutter. :smt116
It is simply not good enough. We are not scoring enough goals.
And i really do wish posters on here would not tempt fate by saying 'easy, easy' and generally writing very daft childish things.
It is not lookign good.
We have finally got Trescothick out and they are 313 for 7 so we might yet manage to enforce the follow on. We really do need to win this game if at all possible.
