Well done Saints - at least we won in front of a massive crowd, but we are still not quite there in terms of killer instinct. Colchester will big a big test - I am still hoping for maximum points over Christmas.

A truly great player for saints - and scored one of the best individual goals i have ever seen - against Norwich as i remember at the Milton end - beat about 9 players all by himself, several of them at least twice, before scoring!

I fear we just haven't had enough penetration - at least they don't give up nowadays. there is still a chance.

yes I was there - it was about 1984 or so I think - and my recollection was that it was called off after about 20 minutes by which time it was not possible to pass the ball as it was floating! On the supporters' charter i think it is an excellent initiative - and it shows a real iwsh to make Saints one of the best clubs in the land. All power to that!

Gillett has a lot mroe ability and motivation than a lot of 'experts' on here seem to realise - I wish him well and will not be at all surprised if he does do very well in the future. There are too many knockers on here!
