When we signed Fonte the Palace fans' reactions spoke volumes about his quality - what are the reactions from Exeter fans at losing this fellow?

I am happy with this - we have a good chance of getting through to the fifth round and a good opportuntiy to put one over on that total bast*rd Keane. Ipswich won't be any sort of pushover but as long as we take them seriously we can win it.

The commentary said we 'stuttered into the next round'. We sounded pretty poor and maybe some of us have been deluidng ourselves about how good we are. We clearly need strengthening - but at least we are in the hat for the draw.

The stats are showing that Luton have ahd 57 per cent possession - surely that can't be right. We are at home! I hope we are suitably motivated for this one. We seem a bit sluggish.

I suppose it makes sense to bring Davis in although I think Bart is as good a keeper. I expect us to win 3 - 1.

The way those running Pompey have behaved is throughly irresponsible and unethical. But then isn't this the way that the English PL is being run? How many other clubs are deeply in debt and when will their chickens come home to roost? And meanwhile those "in charge" (supposedly) of the PL wash their hands of responsibility. It all sounds a bit like the British banking system.

We really do need to strengthen the CB position with an even better version of Trotman - these are such critical positions and we have not yet got it right consistently (eg Brighton match).
