Well with respect some of us have been supporting saints for over 50 years and have literally paid to see thousands of matches. Some of us have been at all the Wembley finals and even the Nots Councty match in the 1980s when we came runners up. I go to quite a lot of away games each season - I was even at the northampton Cup match - but i buy the tickets from the ground or from midlands saints - whether i am on the club's database who knows? Hopefully i can get tickets through the Midlands saints. If there was a membership scheme I would be a member and not have these problems. I suspect i may be forced to watch it on ITV instead of being able to be there.

As far as i can see these arrangements make it very difficult for a Saints fan from elsewhere in the country to get a ticket.

The ticketign arrangeemnts for Pompey do not seem to take account of supporters who are exiles. Some of us get to few home games but go to various away matches. We are not necessarily on the database because we get our tickets elsewhere - in my case from midlands saints. I had hoped that one of my season ticket friends would be able to buy a ticket for me so i could sit with them but that now seems impossible. I think the club needs to reintroduce a membership scheme.

Sorry but i don't see how you can blame the paper for this -any reasonable person would think that the club are out of order to be behaving in such a puerile way. Mr Cortese is in danger of making a fool of himself.
